Woody's story is literally every contractor. They have a project that will take 5 days, but they spread those 5 days of work over 5 months.

I live in Louisiana, and these contractors will take advantage of people that lost everything in a hurricane, tornado, fire, flood. He most likely went do a project that made him more money every time he made an excuse. Some of them hire meth heads, and when those meth heads get paid, they no longer have help, for a few days at least, so they make excuses.

Every time my dad hired contractors to do anything, it would only be days he didn't have work, he would stand there and stare at the guy. Arms crossed anger on his face the entire time. There was ONE guy from the internet company who fucked up the entire time I was growing up. IDK something about a very large man standing over you makes you finish work quick.

@@Rivers198 That's better than the internet guy who cut the ethernet wiring to the entire second floor. Then tried to quote my dad to fix it. Just type in "Samsung technician cuts tv", to see the kinda stuff people try to pull.
I don't mind paying a bit more so the guy doesn't have to come back later and charge me a second time because he intentionally broke something.
In that case would a camera on a tripod be preferred over a person being there with them?

Contractor myself. Kyle's suggestion is ass backwards. I have dealt with so many predatory customers. Sometimes a job does bad, not due to the quality of work but the insane expectations of the customer or the poor quality of the material the customer insisted on buying to save money. I call the bluff 100% of the time. If you want to get litigious, let's go. My work is solid because i enjoy it and take pride in what i do, you're more than likely just being an unreasonable cüñṭ. Most contractors run in the same circles, especially in smaller cities. If you are labeled a predatory customer, word spreads fast. And you'll end up not being able to find work or your quotes will be comically high.
Yes, there are incredibly stupid and career criminal contractors. But there are also insane people who are NEVER satisfied. Two sides of the same coin.

@@mr.brenman2132 Yes. My family and I have built our own homes. I built the roof on our family cabin when I was 14, and helped build my uncles home when I was 16.
