- In this video I sandblast loading shovel arms and bucket with crushed glass media fine + 0.4 / 1.4 probably would have got away with a fine for a slightly faster cut

Most relaxing video I’ve seen in a long time
Glad you enjoyed it! please feel free to view my other videos
@@Mobileblaster I’ve watched quite a few it’s so relaxing watching you work

Please do more of these sandblasting videos! 👍 These are so relaxing to watch! Thank you!!
Please have a snoop around my channel I more of similar content 💞
Mick, just do whatever you want, massive respect to you mate😎
Yeah I was trying different styles out and the data that youtube gives ya may as well be typed in Chinese I still don't understand it 😂 so as a keep adding to my editing skills I believe they are getting better but it's still enjoyable and I'm still pumped to make the next 1 so it's win win for me 😊👌
Very enjoyable and relaxing, almost therapeutic. Keep them coming and thank you.
Will do thx please feel free to have a snoop through my other videos 💞
Great stuff. Totally mesmerising.
👌👍
Watching the sandblaster work is so relaxing | 😌
😊😎👍👌
Really impressed how it takes off all the rust as well as the paint.
Mesmerizing mate, great result.
😎👌👍
Itd be Great to see the new paint !!
Unfortunately I'm never about when paint is applied 😕 it would make for a good video but I have other projects to complete 😬
Cracking format real time rust removal and long
Experimental stages I want to hit a happy medium some folk seam to like short and fast paced other perfer normal speed longer vids I can only do my best and listen to the feedback its much appreciated 👍
With long videos u can run them both ways put a short fast paced one
And a second with all video running at normal paced
I will watch both
Great video Mick, keep em coming!🍺🍺🍺👍
Thx will do 💞
My job is painting these.. I am a wet sprayer at Leeds welding company.. we make buckets and platforms and everything else you can think of that goes in front of a tractor or forklift
. All pretty easy really
easy when ya know how :)
Perfect presentation.love the videos.real sense of achievement.keep up ,the good work.all the best.thanks.
😊👌👍
Great attention to detail
Thx it's appreciated 👌
Its strangely satisfying watching this, good job, new sub..
😉😁 welcome to the blast hood 👌
Awesome video thanks for your time and consideration top job 🇬🇧🤠🇬🇧🤠
Thanks for your comment appreciate it 👍
I love this shit it’s very relaxing for me
😏😊👌👍
Como sempre um excelente trabalho. PARABÉNS.
thx but it wasn't my birthday haha or that may have got lost in translation haha
Haha. Congratulations for the work .
Most enjoyable. Some of the areas on the boats didn’t seem to come totally clean but good enough for the paint I guess. Can you tell and show us about the kit and aggregate you are using. Thanks
Thx appreciate you as a viewer 👌💞 yeah some mettle has mill scale still on and not hard to remove but not enough money in the job to spend time the time needed although it looks like misses its totally fine as its been cleaned and etched up so the paint will stick 👌 I cannot show my pot just yet as I'm still waiting for the protection needed to stop folk copying my build and mass selling it 😬 hoping its my ticket out of this game but its a good few years so far so I don't hold much hope haha
nice job well done
Thank you appreciate your comment 👌👍
Nice video 👍👍
What size media are you using? Looks a nice finish to the steel
Not sure off top of my head pal possibly a fine + crushed glass. Don't forget to subscribe Rob 👍
Wondering what kind of material you used and how much it took to sandblast the whole machine. Loved the video, it was very relaxing. 😁
Thx it's appreciated 💞👌 I use 99.9% crushed glass different grades. I cannot remember how much media I used but if I was doing this job I would load the van with 3/4 of a ton on the hopes to use just over a 1/4 I alway put more in just incase 💞
Mick what are you using when you blast these things and are you working to a spec or are you just cleaning prior to paint?....are you using a straight nozzle, A Venture would give you a better blast pattern and probably double your productivity on larger substrate jobs.
Just a scratch up key for paint no spec he just like to see his moneys worth 😂
Mesmerizing 😳
😊💞
great video!! How long after you sandblast do they paint the part ???
Normally the day after but their put in side over night 👍
Love watching these digger paint removals , only wish there was more slower time lapses , and a few mins of fast time laps clean up at the end of them all
😊 this was mentioned before I have you covered please have a look through my other videos I do real time but no cleaning up 💞
Nice video mate, how do you mount your camera? I also just started making videos and I can learn from yours! Keep it up.
If I told you that then I wouldn't be the only person doing this style haha all I can say is take the insurance out on the camera I'm on my 2nd in 5 month haha its a very harsh environment for electronics 😂
Good luck with the channel though and I welcome you to add some of your videos to my playlists as long as they keep within the topic that is 👍
@@Mobileblaster Thank you! & I cover my GoPro lens with protective film for my blast helmet if that can help you :)
@@newblast6169 it's fairly good it's when I swap batterys and stuff grit gets in it next thing ya know it's kerput. Steel Shot is the worst gopro has magnetics allover it and shot sticks and gets in the vents not good haha media gets everywhere as you may know haha
As a blaster myself I still enjoy watching.By the way what pressure you run at?.
Always good to follow other blasting guys ya may see something useful you can add to your arsenal 👌 I run flat out 125psi @ 260cfm 😁👌
Nice job. The editing at the end was a little weird. I was looking forward to seeing the bucket get done. You voice over audio needs to be louder. I’d actually like to hear more of the machine than the music. Great job though.
Yeah I'm Still learning pal 1 day I should nail it haha its just an hobby that I'm really enjoying and the process of learning 👍
Do you have to treat the metal afterwards to stop it from rusting?
Yeah send it in for paint haha this customer normally puts these in the workshop for the night and paint it the following day. If freshly blasted steel is kept dry it will last as long as it stays dry but the humidity in the air starts the corrosion process instantly so it's all weather dependent on how long it will keep before it needs freshing up the work shop is dry and heated so painting the following day is fine
If you look at the consistency of finish between the upper and the lower arms you tackled first you will find the lower one better. I think this is because you used controlled long passes, always attacking the paint to be stripped from an open edge. Inconsistency seems to occur when the nozzle is jiggled around. Please don’t take these observations as criticism. I hope they may enable you to develop a more efficient technique giving a more consistent finish and possibly saving time as well.
Yeah its known as over blasting when the wiggle happens its a lack in concentration or could be a blip in the media flow hence me changing method. Every blaster has their own way of doing things but I'm a firm believer that overblast is real and strips is the best possible method on steel that is stone brick & wood is a different story as you have to keep an eye on what's happening all the time steel ideal pass is once at the right speed. Sometimes tho it's easier to wiggle and look for the next area check my other loading shovel video I'm very random but their is method in my randomness see if you can figger out my game plan with that 1🤗💞 please note any sort of comment like this is what it's all about for me if someone can spot something that can improve my game I'm all ears 👌💞👍
Love these vids 😁 btw what’s the music track called
Thx it's appreciated 💞. And music I'm not too sure it's out of youtubes free to use library 👌 very limited on what's allowed to use for free copyright free policy's
yer boots are rooted
😏 I try to do as much as possible from 1 angle then move to the next spot same again an hopefully at the end I've not missed anything 👍
Real time shows the skill better x
😎👌💞
Great job I hope you get a coat of primer on it ASAP before it flash rusts . Depending on the humidity it’ll be fast.
It got put in the spray booth just after I finished and was painting the following day 👌💞
A mix between real time and speed up is good voice over video would be very good
Yeah the voice over bit is a little tricky I feel daft even listening to myself I feel daft haha I'm unsure if people can understand my accent too that's me trying to turn it down aswell haha I've got footage of next few videos so after them I will record a mix of both real time and speed up. Thx for input pal it's much appreciated
@@Mobileblaster accent is no problem for myself
The gunman on RUclips who does spray painting is a good one to watch that does voice overs. I know what you mean talking to yourself can be a tricky one
How many kilograms did you use for this job?
I cannot remember but if I was doing this job again I would load the van with 750kgs and plan on bringing 250kgs home 👌💞
@@Mobileblaster Nice! Thank you for answering. :-)
I asked you because I bought an old wheel loader couple of weeks ago. So after rapairing nearly everything I also wanted to give this old wheel loader a new coat of paint. So my idea was to rent a sandblasting device to remove the paint by myself.
But it looks like, that will need a looooot of material... :-/
@@FredMan88 oh if you have no experience in blasting and not familiar with the machine order 2 or even 3 ton not to sound like an arse you will use alot more gear than someone that's doing it daily 👌 good luck hope it works out for you 💞

Eyup Mick, I'm no expert but I think people find this sort of thing 'satisfying' if you do what THEY would do next. On this one you left a bit on that top surface (probably out of reach), that was a bit 'disturbing'... as in 'do that bit!'... Obviously you are doing it your way, and you do know best. But perhaps here you need to play to the audience? As I said, I'm no expert, just giving my tuppence worth if it helps. Cheers...
Could you please time stamp the bit I leave? I believe I've found my style of video now chilled and relaxing is what I aim for 🤞👌👍
