I wish I will be able to go back there. In 1998, I trekked and climbed easy mountains in the Hindu Kush for three weeks. I will never forget the Naltar lakes, Rakaposhi from the outskirts of Gilgit, Nanga Parbat view on the way down to the south, the very hard goat cheese in remote valley farms, the backbreaking jeep day from Gilgit to Darkot, attending a polo game in Gilgit and having to jump from the wall not to be hit by the hammer thing. I could go on forever. I only hope to see, one day, Hunza, Baltoro and K2, this last one being the toughest to reach. I also would die to see Baintha Brakk from Snow Lake. Hope to make it. All be safe. Peace.

Your videos inspired me to travel again. I visited Pakistan and Bangladesh in February. An amazing experience. I can verify, Pakistan was filled with extremely nice people. I really never felt worried, but yea, I did also see a lot of Military. It's such a different part of the world, with so many unique experiences, it really opens your mind and gives you that adventurous and fulfilling travel experience we all want. I go to China and Southeast Asia 3 times a year for the past 7 years, and that was becoming dull for me, so this cultural shock was very much appreciated. Must go if you're a true traveler.
Thanks for coming sir. Military is every where because just 6 years ago terrorists were blowing up in our markets, school and hospitals. Than we've Iran, Afghanistan, China and India in our neighborhood which makes us the most hostile area in the world.
I've been watching for about 6 months now and you've changed my mainstream media fed opinion about so many countries, and that now includes Pakistan. One positive that may come from the crisis we're currently facing (TOGETHER), is that we're all one race living on a tiny marble and we're all just trying to get by. Be kind to each other in exactly the same way we've seen people in your vids be kind to you across the globe.
Karl Antony normal people just so busy for their means. No time for division or hate. But later on we have to pay the price the decision of some one else.

What a terrible way to live. Won’t shake a hand with someone poor??? What shit have you been fed in your life?? Yes it is. Pakistani govt paying prominent RUclipsrs to come and make positive videos so it could help in Pakistan's image building and boost in tourism.
I’m so happy that you explained this to us. I was really thinking it was a little that you were doing this currently. Pakistan so far looks amazing and the people are so so friendly. The hygiene looks a little sketchy but I understand it’s just a different culture. I’m happy you made a decision not to go on as I knew you would. The Karachi is most densely populated city in Pakistan so because of that reason there many things nonfunctional. But as you move north of country there situation opposite of it. Islamabad,Lahore and especially northern areas Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan
Even more sad that this privileged white kid with almost 1 million subs didn't even tip the poor guy... Like hand the guy $20 or something he clearly needs it way more than you.

driving on those streets look like adventure of a life time. anyone know if you need to pass driving test to drive there or anyone who dare can drive ?
you do need a license, but I can't imagine the driving test being difficult and I wouldn't be surprised if you could bribe someone to get one. It definitely takes an incredible amount of skill to drive there.
many people in city drive without licences but not on highways. Mostly car drivers have licences here but most of bike riders are without license. It's my own observation someone can disagree.

Amazing video, I spent almost one month in Pakistan, it is definitely one of the most beautiful places i have seen, specially the area up north. Locals are super friendly, just like Iran hospitality there is at another level.
Thank you for sharing
I have always enjoyed your videos, but now it is even more meaningful. In this time of isolation your videos are like a sweet dessert! Thank you. Stay safe.
Thank you Bruce, appreciate that and look after yourself during these days
Agreed!
Hey Brian, you are welcome anytime you want to visit. I'm from Lahore and I'd personally show you around. here is my twitter RafAbd101
Best way to kill the time.. Stay safe everyone.. Pakistan zindabad 🇵🇰❤️
Absolutely beautiful words, thank you Karl. Makes my day, truly. Look after yourself and others. Take care :)
Karl Antony normal people just so busy for their means.
No time for division or hate.
But later on we have to pay the price the decision of some one else.
14:53 Big respect for you sir for handshake with a poor guy. You literally win my heart🇵🇰❤
in first world countries no one is poor or rich , everyone is human people even don't think like that here but i can understand from where you are coming from as i am also a pakistani by birth
What a terrible way to live. Won’t shake a hand with someone poor??? What shit have you been fed in your life?? My family has plenty and we not only shake hands with less fortunate but invite them in our home and help lift them up. 🇺🇸. Shitty people will keep living in shit. Those poor are much better than you!
The poor people are the finest people on earth. They are God's chosen people.

I like how these videos show the country for what it is. It’s not a forced political view.

I’m happy you made a decision not to go on as I knew you would. driving on those streets look like adventure of a life time. anyone know if you need to pass driving test to drive there or anyone who dare can drive ?
you do need a license, but I can't imagine the driving test being difficult and I wouldn't be surprised if you could bribe someone to get one. It definitely takes an incredible amount of skill to drive there.
They drive pretty much like Indians do , not many rules observed.
many people in city drive without licences but not on highways. Mostly car drivers have licences here but most of bike riders are without license. It's my own observation someone can disagree.
airdi I rode around India, renting scooters and people just asked for a for a passport a lot of time. Also if u want a grand adventure, consider the Vietnam motorbike trip, I did it without a liscnes room 2 months but can be done in 1. Google Motorbiking Vietnam
It's basically drive down a road and turn at a corner then stop same as India.
