Is your Delta loop antenna horizontal or vertical plane? Also the lowest point should be 7.5 ft to 10 ft. for 20 meter Delta loop. Also start with 1005/frequency which will be approx. 70.5 inches total length of wire to start with. Look at AP FOTO you tube. Almir ve3dal portable Delta loop. Would be nice to take to a park. Also has a small "foot print" for use of space on the ground, V shaped.

That particular loop was sort of tilted it down. I didn't use the 1005/Freq formula, I used 936/Freq in Mhz because it supposed to be better with the impedance being lower to the ground. I was just experimenting around with the 20 meter loop in this video.. Right now I am using an 80 Three sided Full-wave loop for 80 meters. It''s 2 points are 24 ft high and 1 point is about 45 feet off the ground. I used the 936/Freq in Mhz for my loop and I am using a 2.5 balun not a 4 to 1 balun. I have it cut to about 263 ft. at 3.600 MHz I am getting 1.5 SWR and the impedance is 75 ohms. I am using the loop for 10-80 meters with a antenna tuner. ruclips.net/video/TqE_W_0Le0k/видео.html I have replaced my wire right now without the tuner. At. 3.6 MHz 1.5 SWR, at 7.098 MHz 1.5 SWR, 14.250 Mhz 2.5 SWR, On 15 Meters on the CW portion I am getting about 2.35 SWR, and most of the CW portion of 10 Meters about 2 SWR. When you using your antenna as a mulit frequencies the tuner comes in handy....

@@RichRodgersOnlineAnd that ve3dal 20 meter system is easy to take portable to like a park or parking lot. No more than 10 ft at the lowest point and not heavy.😊

Try raising the end to the top of your fence and see if it gets better.

That would probably help. I am hoping to take it to Red River, NM to drop it off a 2 story condo. I was just experimenting at the home qth. Thank you for watching my video!
