Explaining my 20m Delta Loop Antenna

2nd time deploying the 20m delta loop as part of a parks on the air activation at James Baird State Park, also known as K-2084. The antenna is designed using 1005/Frequency which gave me a starting length of 70 1/2 feet based on a design frequency of 14.230 MHz. I ended up trimming it down to 68ft for resonance likely due to the 18ga silicon coated high strand count wire I used. Each end of the wire has a crimped spade clip for easy connection to the binding posts on the LDG 4:1 Unun. Some velcro wire ties help keep the Unun from flopping around near the green military fiberglass mast. I used two sections of green mast. One was cut up into a 12 inch length so it can be permanently mounted to my rectangle of 1/2 inch thick Plexi I had laying around. A pair of U-Bolts hold a length of 1 1/2 PVC pipe angled at 45 degrees and a single bolt at the base of each piece of PVC pipe prevents the orange masts from slipping through the bottom of the PVC. Two more U-Bolts were used to mount the small section of mast to the bracket. I can easily slip the short mast into the top of a standard four foot length. The remaining 36 inches of the cut up mast secures to my mount device to make setup easy in less than 5 minutes.
Each 20ft orange Jackite mast is extended on the ground along with an s clip at each mast tip to allow the wire to pass through. It is easy to pull the loose ends of the wire to center the loop.
No one reads these comments but hope this helps. The Delta loop can be made many different ways and also fed different ways to change impedance and take off angle for optimum communications range.
the loop can easily be shortened for use on 15m or 17m bands and the Unun can be replaced with ladder line or 75 ohm coax stubs for matching flexibbility.

Is your antenna vertically polarized? Looks like a great setup I want to make for my limited space. I may use 450
Ohm window line to take the weight off the wire, and a 4:1
balun. Thanks ,and hope to hear you on the bands😊

Just curious why you use an Unun and not a Balun as a deltaloop is a balanced antenna. I made a deltaloop for 10 and 12m with a home brew 4:1 balun with great results, not criticising just curious - have fun.

I figured I would try the UnUn (on hand) and possibly use it on other bands with a tuner instead of going balanced route and making jumpers to change resonance on other bands. So far it works as shown on 20m plus 15m and 17 with a tuner pretty well. Have not tried it elswhere yet. I am experimenting with 1/4 lamba 75 ohm stubs currently in place of the UnUn to see if any efficiency benefits.

@hvdnvideochannel9253 75 ohms stub does work but as you know you'll be limited to a mono band due to its calculated length for it to remain efficient, a 2:1 balun does also work on mono banders too.
