People overbash this movie for no reason. Yesssss, it had its flaws, but it did just like any other movie. Brosnan's at his second-best for me (I think he's more confident in TWINE) and it has my favorite PTS. If you just sit down and enjoy without the concern of criticizing, you can see this still was pretty much a James Bond movie. Unlike the last one that had Bond killed in the ending... At least in DAD he is still alive. And that makes it better for me, no matter what anyone says.
But yes Casino Royale and Skyfall are both better than DAD. What’s interesting is in the Craig Era I have two of his films in my bottom 5 (NTTD and QOS), one in the middle (Spectre) and 2 in the top 5 (Skyfall, Casino Royale). With Brosnan none of them are in the top 5 but again none of them are in the bottom 5. All of them are in the middle.
It would have been awesome after Graves got chopped up in the plane engine somehow the solar energy from Icarus bounced backwards into space, blew up Icarus and diamonds just went flying everywhere.

Seriously, yeah the CGI was a little annoying but the movie was at least fun and that’s far more than I can say for QOS or NTTD.
