1990 I was 23 years old. I had bought a brand new 1988 Mustang GT in the day. Since then I've owned a 1988 Z51 Corvette, a 1991 ZR-1 Corvette, a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V, a 2013 Audi S5, and now a 2016 Z06 , 3LZ Convertible in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic! I love my Corvette. I would love to have a new Z06 or a ZR1 but for the price, I either have to wait or just enjoy my C7. Thanks for the video Joe!!
Between Lamborghini making that weak Revuelto, Ferrari with their terrible looking Cillindri, Dodge and their horrible EV, somehow Chevy came through and blew them all out of the hemisphere with the ZR1.

I can’t believe GM built this car. They’ve been languishing for decades and then this masterpiece of engineering comes out, wow. Super gorgeous car and that flat plane crank engine that sounds like a Ferrari, is incredible. Now they’ve built a twin turbo! They could have revised the nose and tail to differentiate the ZR1 from other vettes. The craftsmanship second to none. All the engineers and technicians who worked in this car deserve praise. I wouldn’t want any other sports care in the world. This is my pick above them all. Good job GM and Chevy. Lotsa passion involved. 👍👆🙌

Amazing looking color combination. The only 'zonkable' thing to me has always been the plastic vents below the taillights...very cheap looking. Instead, they should use the same wire mesh that's around the exhaust. Looks way cooler than gloss plastic.

Read an article the other day and it was I think Lamborghini or maybe Ferrari could be wrong but they built a transmission that goes thru the gears n one transition of the engines rpm cycle so it always climbs with no drop that just blew my mind and seems like a game changer possibly. I’d have to sit on the throne some more to wrap my head around that a bit.
It's beautiful. But, the extra frunk storage space of the Stingray is so worth the trade-off in horsepower. You can take your lady & her stuff for a weekend vacation.
Corvette did a great job by tilting the screen towards the driver 👍Driver oriented infotainment system should be mandatory in all cars because 90 percent of the main screen usage is usually done by the driver of a car, not passengers. If passengers want entertainment they can use their cellphones. 😎

First..Great video. Secondly, I've been on waiting list since 2019. First for Z06 now for ZR1. I didn't get the Z06 because the dealer switch the deal once the order banks opened, he wanted 50k over, I said no. Now my dealer I've had my Zr1 preorder with, now states that gm stated that only 2k nationwide would be released next year. Therefore I'm number 38 on the list, it's not likely I would be able to order next year. Now dude, I'm over it. Now when I look at it, Chevy's bs trim level buying system is severely flawed. It's the same damn car for each trim (3lz) just different engine configurations. There's so many options in the 200k plus range I'm out. Lastly, the values of the c8 have been tanking.
Maybe it's just me but, I like a seat to be able to recline a bit. The ride is going to be stiff already, but there should be a way to add length to the body so the seat can recline.
