As a trans person, I love that you didn't conflate being trans with "gender swapping". Because trans people don't actually swap genders as way too many people seem to believe. We were always this way, and we just decided whether or not transitioning would help with the identity and feelings we already had since we gained consciousness.
I still don’t understand, like it’s very hard to explain what I’m trying to say, but the best way I can say it is that if someone draws a character but trans it’s like after they come out to where they can express it. I’m not trans so maybe what I’m saying doesn’t make sense, well I guess that’s why it’s hard to explain.

@Kexney99 to sum it up, sex refers to biological and physiological characteristics such as chromosomes and reproductive organs.
gender refers to socially constructed characteristics such as gender roles.
some cultures do sometimes view sex characteristics as gender characteristics, but plenty of cultures also do not. the varying perceptions of gender between cultures is one of the things that makes it socially constructed.

Chihiro is interesting, because it's commentary about how feminine boys are so bullied, it's actually just easier for them to just pretend to be girls, and chihiro clearly doesn't like being perceived as a girl, he just has no other choice.
@@filipemartinho1753See, that’s the thing. Whether or not Chihiro is canonically trans is, in my opinion, mostly a question of authorial intent. Was it a commentary on toxic masculinity or a misguided attempt at writing a trans character? I don’t know. I wasn’t there when they wrote it.
I choose to read Chihiro as a trans woman, but if you interpret them as an effeminate man, or any other identity, then that’s okay too.

As a nonbinary aroace, theres always a clear difference on how I headcanon characters as trans/nonbinary and aro/ace. I like making characters trans and/or nonbinary for the hell of it (to push the trans agenda hehe) but anytime I see a conventialy attractive character, I make them aro and/or ace because aro/ace people are attractive and that's a fact
Anyways, Luna Loud is a bisexual trans girl and Luan Loud is a femme nonbinary

@@redmage5251 all the dialogue in side order and leading up to side order refers to acht with they/them pronouns, and this isnt just english translation because in Japanese they refer to themself with masculine/gender non-conforming pronouns.
@@breadloaf9936 the thing about gender neutral pronouns in Japanese is true, because all pronouns in Japanese are technically gender neutral.

A couple I’ve commonly seen are characters from animes that are currently in hot water, but I can’t recall any that I specifically headcannon as trans. I headcannon most of them as queer though.
