  • Tonight we're completing the second leg of our "around the world" escapade in Microsoft Flight Simulator - flying from EDFE Egelsbach in Germany to LYPG Podgorica, in Montenegro.
Postscript - an engine failure en-route caused us to divert into Bolzano. I'll write a blog post at jonbeckett.sub... :)

I was surprised when you cleared the warning and then went to for a coffee. But I thought the recovery was well handled. Fun flight.

So interesting. When did you transition into find a runway mode? This was dramatic!

As soon as I saw no power to the left engine.

    FSB - Fasten Seat Belts.
    LIGHTING SYSTEMS
    COCKPIT LIGHTS (B350)
The Overhead Light Control Panel, easily accessible to both pilot and copilot,
incorporates a functional arrangement of the lighting system controls. The panel
incorporates a switch placarded FSB ON-OFF which controls the fasten seat belt
    signs and chime.

I just wonder whether your controller or hub are the source of most of your problems. The sim freezes a lot more for you than it does for me and on this flight, just before you returned, the sim froze/glitched showing behaviour you’ve seen before when your controls glitch, and when the sim came back the left engine died. The fact the Bendix claimed the right engine died I think is because your controller caused confusion.
As you say, hopefully your new system later this year will resolve it. Recommend getting a honeycomb alpha and bravo combo if you can, too. That’s what I’ve got and seldom have issues.

That was different. Losing an engine right in the top of the mountain range. The Bolzano airport looks very nice. Did you installed or it comes with thee simulator?
