    Thank you for this work.
I think I have understood some small errors which prevent me from progressing.
It is very instructive. Thanks again for sharing this.

This is so helpful as I'm trying to search for the how to. I've been running for 40 yrs but just turning to racewalking recently due to non stop injuries I've got for more than a year. This racewalk is giving me the ability to keep myself active like I used to be but at the same time still need to work on the new walking technique. I find there are more running coaches than walking coaches! I used to be a running coach myself. Really appreciate this clip.

Thanks a lot guys, very interesting. One observation that I've noticed about the NY girl race walkers, since they almost exclusively compete in short races, many seem to have adopted a higher arm carry (

It may also be that many of them are coached by non race walking coaches, and I think the 90 degree angle is something you need to be coached to do.

@@RacewalkI believe Morgan's observation is correct. When you walk slowly but with long stride you can mantein your arms low and parallel to your legs but while increasing the speed you have to lift your arms and crossing them in front of your body and increasing even more the speed, as in race walking, you have to bend your arms so they are exact in front of your chest. To try to mantein them with a 90 degrees is not natural. I believe that is a missconception in order to keep a right walking. The problem is that nowadays almost all the walkers concentrate the power strength near the hands but if you instead concentrate the strength in your elbows or forearm your technic will be more natural and you will be able to walk faster and cleaner because this movement push for the hips. Remember how the Russian Soldatenko and Ucranian Golovnichy walked, and it was spectacular to watch them in race. Before you criticize me try to train several times as I recommend and then go back to your usual technic and you will notice the difference. A lot of thanks for your video analizing

Sorry didn't see this till now. 4k 120 fps. I've also done 1080p at 240 but that requires me to own with the athlete which I can't do when I officiate

This kind of technical analysis is incredibly helpful!!! The detailed critique of individual technique juxtaposed with that level of forensic video analysis is just next level stuff. I've never seen anything like it and it has really helped me smooth out some things already. I can now go into "float mode" at will. LOL!

Really glad you liked it. Yes, a minor, non visible float is good.
