Check out these shoes that ARE NOT banned, that I like using for Racewalking. Songs used: And So it Begins- Aryll Fae www.youtube.co.... SoundCloud: / aryllfae Patience- Dyalla • Video
I use Altra Escalantes. They have a zero heel drop, which I need. I rotate shoes. When the old model is phased out, I buy a few pair as it's cheaper. When your legs start to hurt, it's time to change shoes. What shoe wear you get depends on your particulars re foot strike. This from a guy who racewalks in the neighborhood.
Perfect timing, Natos. You can, of course, donate dead to you shoes to Soles for Souls where they are given to those without shoes. Check a running store for a collection point. Keep something still useful out of the landfill. Hugs - Lizzy
Hi! Questions: Does a certain number of miles or how the shoes feel when you put them on determine opting for a new pair? Do you buy more than one pair? I have a concern that if a certain style is discontinued, I would go through the 7 stages of grief, picket the companies head quarters to bring them back. But that’s just me. 😉😆
So, usually shoes are recommended to be switched anywhere between 300 miles, but I have worn shoes that lasted closer to 500 miles. Especially considering i can't afford to change shoes as often as 300 miles. I have also switched out shoes when I feel as though they are starting to not provide as much comfort as before. I DO buy more than one pair when I can because that one style is usually hard to come across again. I dont usually enjoy spending more than 60 dollars on a shoe. I actually make it a point not to. But I try to buy as many as available, because the issue of the shoe being discontinued is seriously annoying and I agree with you hahaha. I bought about 5 pairs of these shoes when I had the chance. Cost me around 200 dollars that day.
