Not all the objects and furnishings in that castle are enchanted or sentient. The human servants (of which certainly there would be many) were turned into said objects by the Enchantress as part of the curse, because she couldn't have the Beast's servants leaving him alone or else he wouldn't learn his lesson. If you'll notice, not all the furniture is sentient or enchanted (the chair, the fireplace, the beds, the books and bookshelves, etc.) they're just furniture. Even so I doubt a walking, talking toilet would allow anyone to use it that way, so the point is kind of moot in that case. If you wanted something disturbing, Belle and Beast were, technically, drinking tea that had already been in Mrs. Pott's stomach, Lumiere set himself on fire a lot and the wardrobe gave Belle clothes from her insides. I don't even know what to say about Chip and that crack in his, uhm, head?

Turning a small kid into a beast and innocent servants who should have answered the door instead into furniture, including another child and a dog. While it is important to be humble and kind, equally so is it to be careful of strangers. It's not until several years lady, by the whims of Stockholm Syndrome is the curse lifted.
