hhehhe this is very useful.
Tip from me: so if you want a like very detailed edit, also look for lighting references. if the light is coming from the top it will not have a little light on the middle of the hair, it will mostly be on the top part of the hair. For shadows it would be on the bottom tips of the hair and back hair (not ponytails). If it is coming from the left side of the edit. there will be a rim light on the side of the character and a little light (I use a airbrush) on the left side aswell, as for the right side it will be the same thing. Ambient lighting: if there is an lighting that is already existing (natural lights, steet lightsc vibe room lights. ect.) I dont know much about this lol I'm only a 2 year experienced artist.Loop lighting is a lighting pattern that creates a circular shadow on the subject's face just under the nose. You will see this in lots of portraits on google/internet. Its when the shadow cures around the eye lid, carried by the nose bridge around the nostril; down to the middle part in-between your nose and mouth in the center and around the mouth/lips to the chin and curves around. Usually there will be a triangle of light under the bottom eyelid.
