    Hey, do you know if you can make DIY blades instead of skates? Can't find any videos on them. Love the look of skates and my daughter likes skates, but I prefer blades myself.

    Thank you so much for this tutorial! You are awesome! Do you have recommendations for how to remove the toe stops? I usually skate with jam plugs and am also wondering if regular bolt-on plugs work with these. Thank you!

    Thank you for this video. I wonder if Dr Martens are great for roller dance and which plate I should use ?

    • @MadameQuadHK
      @MadameQuadHK  2 года назад

      Thank you for your support and a good question! It depends on the style of roller dance you're interested in and how comfortable you feel in a stiff boot. Dr. Martens can offer some good support but it might feel a bit clunky. As for the plate, you may consider a plate without toestops like a century NTS from suregrip or a reactor neo or pro if you're looking to do more acrobatic moves. (Feel free to email us at info@madamequad.com or leave your details if you're looking for more information)

    Do roller skates come with a kingpin? I'm planning on using my moxi plates to make my own custom skates but I don't wanna mess up.

    • @MadameQuadHK
      @MadameQuadHK  2 года назад

      Most plates will come standard with a kingpin, the nylon thrust that comes with the Moxi Lolly set will have them too. Good luck with your customs!

    So you don't need metal insoles for these?

    • @MadameQuadHK
      @MadameQuadHK  3 года назад +1

      no, you actually don't. The plate is in the shape of a sneaker, so it will give the strength needed to use your edges
