I loved roller-skating!!! Sadly, the rinks in my area have all closed down, and more and more places prohibit skating on sidewalks, where I first learned to skate.
I bought my own pair of plain, white skates, customized them with pom-poms, and carried them in my own wooden skate case. The case doubled as a place to keep my shoes while I skated. Oh, to be able to go to the rink again...

I still have a pair of tall black leather Riedell boots/skates I used in the late 70's & 80's, with a soft sheepskin tounge & Sure Grip plates. Hope to use them one day again if I'm ever able to have knee surgery. I'd be back out there in a minute!
Love Reidell! They have amazing customer service. I rmailed them about a wuestion on purchasing skates. They got back to me right away. And yes Moxi skates belong to them too. !❤ what a great company. Love them even more knowing they are family owned and take pride in their work.

Please do not use the stock PowerDyne Thrust Plate along with any of the bushings that Ridell makes. Either upgrade to a better plate or get a roller skate from a different brand altogether.
