Which wheels do you use for slippery tiles? I have Moxi Skates Rainbow Riders stock wheels. I notice that it's very slippery on tiles and even on concrete road. I'm currently practicing on rubberized jogging track and it's pretty much working
Radar came out with some new outdoor dance wheels that have good grip called “Crush” (small wheels!), they would be good as long as you are on smooth surfaces. I also like Radar Energy 57’s but they don’t have as much grip.
Congratulations! That’s so exciting. I would check your wheels. Make sure they spin. And then if you have never been on skates start out very slow and work on the ability to just stand upright. Keep knees bent and wear protective gear and helmet. 💓🦋
I just got skates for the first time and when I try turning, leaning or the sticky skate I can’t do it, my skates only want to go straight. I can only turn if I lift them off the ground otherwise they feel kinda sticky and like grinds on the floor. It’s so frustrating.
hey! have you tried loosening your trucks just a tad bit? that should solve your issue! usually when you put on your skates fresh out of the box, they are like “factory” tight lol. loosening the trucks just a teeny bit so the truck/wheel bearing wiggles just the smallest amount should do the trick. hope this helps! :)
Loosening trucks and your wheels can help a ton. New skates usually need a little adjusting at first. It can also depend on what type of skates you have. 💜
There are some things you can practice on carpet. Getting used to being in skates and higher up is helpful. Depending on how thick your carpet is though your wheels will have trouble rolling. 💜
I have personally loosened my trucks to what’s comfortable for me and it can definitely make a difference! It takes a little bit of trial and error to find that sweet spot but you can just loosen them a little bit at a time until it feels good and always retighten if you don’t feel secure or too wobbly. 💜
How do your skates not make any noise when turning? I think I’m doing something wrong, I practice on my driveway with gummy outdoor wheels so that must be why. Anything I can do to prevent the annoying sound?
Wheels absolutely make a difference! But mine do still make noise. Overtime you get better at moving them with less drag but for me it isn’t completely avoidable. At least not yet anyway. Lol! 💜
It does depend on the size of your toe stopper for some of the moves. I found mine got in the way but when you are beginning a toe stopper is helpful. 💜
Some of the moves might be a bit tricky but you could always make your own personal drills that work based off of these. I never did much fancy stuff on roller blades. I just went fast and rode them for exercise. Lol! 💜
I do not in this video but I have a set of Smith Scabs that I did a little review on. I will wear protective gear when I know I am trying something new or out of my comfort zone. 💜🦋 ruclips.net/video/-4h4rW6pGnc/видео.html
Hope this isn't a silly question, but could this be effective/helpful for inline skates too? There's a heat wave this week where I am, and I'm not too keen on heading outside right now to skate ha
Not a silly question at all. You can definitely do some movements on inlines. Probably not all but you could always make your own adjustments. Any type of strength training is helpful too and I have a few of those videos as well. We are having heatwaves and hazardous air quality due to smoke where I’m at so I can totally relate to being stuck inside. 💜
I have a question! Does truck tightness affect your ability to do bubbles? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Total and complete noob here. But subbed! I love your explanation of things!
Thank you for subbing! Not a dumb question at all. Actually a really good one. Yes, when they are loosened it can help with turning. But the more tight they are the more stable. So you can start gradually loosening until you find that sweet spot that works for you. And over time adjust to fit your advancements. Also bubbles has a lot to do with muscle activation and mind muscle connection. They can be really tricky at first and that is totally normal. 💜🦋

Radar came out with some new outdoor dance wheels that have good grip called “Crush” (small wheels!), they would be good as long as you are on smooth surfaces. I also like Radar Energy 57’s but they don’t have as much grip.
Do you need to loosen the anything before doing any of these skills I just got skates today
I live in an apartment. Can I practice on carpeting?
There are some things you can practice on carpet. Getting used to being in skates and higher up is helpful. Depending on how thick your carpet is though your wheels will have trouble rolling. 💜
LOVE YOU!! BAD ASS!!!
Love you! And thank you so much. 💜🦋
Do you keep your trucks loose or tight?
Can you say if this make a difference ?
I have personally loosened my trucks to what’s comfortable for me and it can definitely make a difference! It takes a little bit of trial and error to find that sweet spot but you can just loosen them a little bit at a time until it feels good and always retighten if you don’t feel secure or too wobbly. 💜
@@TaniCoy thank you so much
Your video helps a lot 🖤
well, that's better than actual highheels.
Lol!
Lol! 💜
Can you do this with toe stoppers?
It does depend on the size of your toe stopper for some of the moves. I found mine got in the way but when you are beginning a toe stopper is helpful. 💜
Are your trucks loosened?
Yes they are. But I have no idea to what degree. Lol! 💜
Can i do this in rollerblades instead?
Some of the moves might be a bit tricky but you could always make your own personal drills that work based off of these. I never did much fancy stuff on roller blades. I just went fast and rode them for exercise. Lol! 💜
@@TaniCoy ill try it out soon, thanks a lot!!, ❤️❤️
Do you have on knee pads?. If so what brand?
I do not in this video but I have a set of Smith Scabs that I did a little review on. I will wear protective gear when I know I am trying something new or out of my comfort zone. 💜🦋

@@TaniCoy thank you so much for your reply! This helps so much!
👍😍
Thank you!💜🦋
Thanks !! I will try for sure. :)
You are so welcome. I hope the video helps. 💜🦋
Very beautiful lady and very helpful instruction demonstration
Wait did the wheels switch mid-video haha
Lolol! Probably. I have to go back and watch but I did switch my wheels recently and sounds like something I would do.
