Luke Mossey's crash at the 2019 Cadwell Park British Superbike Championship. He sustained a hairline fracture in his leg after this crash during the test at Cadwell Park.

How lucky was his landing.....that could have been so much worse.

Looks like he must have been making the slight right curve, rear wheel slid out a bit, thenit CAUGHT TRACTION!
A very hot, large cross-section slick - when it grabs - will toss you off like an untamed bull in a rodeo. There's no arguing with it, you're airborne, and in his case he luckily landed in the grass and didn't slide into/hit any structures. The way the bike flipped and flipped, he was haulingazz when the rear tire slid out a bit, going fast. Bike suffered more damage than rider, which is preferable.
