Enjoyed the episode... maybe as much as Rigby enjoyed listening in the truck to Foreigner - "I Want To Know What Love Is"..I once panned in a creek in Idaho that had 100's of 1000's little Garnets. Hardly any black sand in it and a little bit of FlyPoop for color. One pan wuld've filled three of your little vial's. Never experienced anything like that after. Thanks to you & Rigby for making these video's, (and oh yes.. thanks to Mrs. Wizard for letting you out to play)!

I can vouch for that I'm in Idaho and I sometimes run into so many garnets that it just makes my gold panning a big nightmare so many garnetts I'm telling you all over this place I'm sick of them I'm sick of a dang Garnett's I hate him

That first creek reminds me of what we deal with in New York. So the Tighter the bend the better with deposits that remain through multiple floods. That second creek is the stuff I dream of new york being like!!!

Really good job explaining why you werk the areas you werk. Great shot of that clay layer with the gravel on top. I think you taught a lot of people what to look for. You have to keep an eye on them shrimps, we got'em out here in AZ, but they have a weird lil tail on them. Just so you know garnets come in every color in the rainbow, those green and clear stones are likely garnets. I am going to the Salmon river in a week or so in Idaho, maybe I can scoop up some garnets for both of us. You take care my friend, give Rigbomob a scratch and keep the awesome videos coming sir.

People pay good money for diamonds... I say they can keep 'em. I'll take a rich, wine colored garnet, a golden citrine, cut and faceted rose quartz, or a crystal of Goshenite (it's a type of Beryl stone, colorless, but often also flawless, unlike emeralds) any day of the week. You might be able to get one or two of those faceted and put in a pair of earrings or pendant for Mrs. Wizard. You can actually get jewelry findings and settings to make your own jewelry... It's about as addictive as gold panning. Some of the "Rocks of the Week" might look nice as a cabochon...
