This theory works both ways ! Low water is good and so is high water floods i figured out my California og spot by being down there during the massive rush of flood waters. Watching the back swirls and eddys really brings the underwater low water look into view.

I once saw this eddy, water was up 10 ft at least, it looked like a 20 sauna tucked back in a section of bedrock just swirling was cool looking, thought it was a bowl or something cut out of the bedrock... went back two days later and it was a massive gravel bed, no bowl in the bedrock! Not alot of gold in this area but you get the jist of what in saying though, I couldn't have imagined what that high water was doing under there! Now I know what to and where to look 👀 😏

The blue clays here in N.C usually contain gold, not all the time but most of the time it will have some color.

I killed a mosquito Friday it's still in my bathroom mirror reusing the other bathroom till I have the courage to wipe it away leeches double ewe its green down south here too a while back I took a sample from our creek and nothing I believe urs manmade I'm doubting there would be anything anywhere near me but its always fun to watch you and Rigby and looking into the FRIDGE OF WONDER smoked fish yummmm!🌝
The bugs are just getting started !!!! Soon to be unbearable!!!!

I just came across your videos and I enjoy this fun little hobby as well!! It's really exciting when you hit that one little lucky spot when you start seeing flakes in the pan!! I'm just a rookie at it.. I have a friend who does this for a hobby and back last year he called me wanting me to go with him just to see what it's like and now I regret not going with him all those times he asked me to go!! Yes, it is awesome to find gold regardless if it is little flakes but the best part is the peace of mind when I'm out there!! My opinion, it's the best therapy ever if you want to escape the B. S. that is stored up inside!! Every clip I watch, I learn more about what to look for when you are on the hunt for that once in a lifetime "MOTHER LOAD"!! 😆!!

Wow that red stuff's really did pay off Rigby sure did nail it on that 1. Glad to see you guys could get out and do some prospect them and find some sweet gold I tried to go out yesterday but the water levels were so high it was insane I tried to do some digging and then I broke my shovel 6000 ft³ per 2nd was not allowing me to do anything Thanks for bringing us along your adventure brother too bad there wasn't good flow to run sluice by red stuff edit nice then you guys find a sweet spot in the shade to work awesome stuff. It might not be the beach but it's awsome in its own way.getting out in The woods is always a gift

In my neck of the woods we call those biting flies "deer flies" while "horse flies" are the huge cicada sized mothers that actually draw blood when they bite...luckily horse flies are typically only found around farm ponds

Love the north woods in the early summer. It's a wonderland. That exposed bench that you were testing on may still have a lot, you have to move to the center of the bench and start there. You were much too close to the front edge with your two test pans. Testing across the river under large rocks showed you there was gold flowing in that river. The water was too fast for anything to stay without cover. That means the first chance gold had to land on that bench is much further downstream.

Perfect weather out there. Sure beats 20 below ! It took you a while, but you found the spot in that creek. Really nice color for the volume you ran. BTW, I like your close ups of the material samples. Gives a good look at what you're digging. Also, that one sample from an old stream bed is worth a closer explore sampling. Might good potential to run a high banker in there. Keep uo the awesome work and watch out for them leaches !!

Hi Jason nice pan of gold sorry for not coming up were you are this year because I have a lot of things going on in my life my eyes operate on this week and then to my roof problem I have a really bad roof leak andi it's need to be fixed before winter time Comes everything cost so much money these days just for materials for the roof just for a 12x12 building is going to cost me about $4;000 dollars after all that is over next year I will try and come up ii watch every video you put out take care God bless you and your family Amen

Hey there Mike here from across the pond up in Thunder Bay Ontario. If you're getting heavy glare look into a circular polarizer it'll help a ton with the shots can even just pop it in front of the lens held with the other hand spin it until she's clear. That shiny stuff is sure looking good, think I might just have to head out and take a look myself!

Just got back to Florida from Wisconsin. Working 12-hour days 11 days in a row. I drive by some creeks in my travels wish I had time to wet a pan or two. I mostly work in southeast part of the state. I do go up to Roberts, Black River Falls and Mauston. If you get to Mauston, try staying at "The Lodge" really nice and great steaks.
Noted !!! We travel all over and a good meal is hard to find sometimes!!!!

The gold you get there is about the same as what I get on my claim but I do get a picker once in awhile. Gold is gold and prospecting is a great hobby. Freaking horse flies, deer flies, mosquitoes, ticks and snakes are all out on the claim .

Dude, nice day out! Oooooh that rock. You have all those grey "meh" rocks, then you pull out a red jasper looking rock the size of a baseball. WOW. That last hole you were prospecting was like oh ok, until you panned down and your shovel looked like a spoon. Someone did ok that day. Some of that smooth grey clay you pull out looks like you could make pottery out of it. lol
You can tell I was working on a Sunday instead of watching when I reply on a Wednesday evening. Ungh. I think I'm at 28 days in a row and I will be putting in time this weekend too, but knowing the beach "might" be coming, I'll power through so this doesn't become a regular occurrence.
That new beach toy looks amazing. Maybe grab a length of old miners moss and roll it up to even the water out.

Just left SE Wisconsin and drove to Arizona. The mosquitoes and flies were coming out when I left. I do not miss them. I used to live on a farm in Plymouth, Wi and the horse flies and deer flies were bad. Look up a product called tanglefoot deer fly traps that you wear on your head. Flies are attracted to movement, body heat and the colors blue or black. I got an old blue Brewers helmet, smeared tanglefoot paste on it and drove around the farm on our tractor. Those female deer flies attacked the helmet, got stuck in that paste and died there. Each female carries about 150 eggs that will never hatch. Prospecting for flies and gold. Out.
Or I could just leave too….🤣✅

Woot woot, making my weekend with these vids. I went camping last weekend and brought back a big ziploc full of black sand. It is so red and black when i get to the heavies ( garnet sand?) I have not found gold yet, it's so hard to pan, took me 15 + minutes to get to the bottom of just those heavies. it's problably very fine,if there is some. Since it's on a lake and in Quebec province where it's mostly Glacier gold. There maybe no gold there, but it sure is fun!!! Once i get a sluice going in my yard,. i'll be set! Waiting for my bilge pump from Amazon! Cheers and thanks for the great times and inspiration!

I cant start gold mining, cause I'd never stop. When I was younger out in California I would sit in creeks from sun up to sun down panning. I'd love to do it again....and I live in Maryland so there's that there.
