Dont know what it is about Keir Starmer but hes got a real sparkle about him
The only sparkle he has is what the guy threw on him! Hahahaha!
He hopes to make enough to retie as Lord Kier
okay... go with 3k energy bills and 37% food inflation then - do one@@rasat4829
A right little glitter ball!@@rasat4829
Germany thought that about Adolf.
Starmer is likable and believable, but blimey how he can't deliver a joke line.
Lawyers are not business men. To run a nation hard line business types do it far better
He's neither likeable or believable too
Are you looking for a Prime Minister or a comedian? Haven't we had enough of those in government recently!?
@@BenButtigieg I'm looking for someone honest with a party that has progressive policies...it's not Starmer and Labour
i love rishi personally - hes so relatable and likable................................@@keithparker1346
Hes far from the perfect labour leader but i detect real emotion. Stuff i never have felt from rishi who just comes across so scripted because normal life will never affect him.
great that you have a choice of 2 leaders who will not touch your privilege.
And a liar who doesn’t care about the working class he’s a snob labour meed to raise the minimum wage substaially. And do something about our energy bills
corbyn > starmer
Labour have a winner here.
I'm from Consett, where Corbyn enabled the first Tory MP in a lifetime.
Labour will win easily this time.
They are extremely dangerous to our way of life!
Labour will not win easily, the Tories will just lose badly, there's a subtle but massively important difference.
11:30 is when the talking starts
Great speech. What a relief that our next Prime Minister will be serious and competent.
He shakes hands and kisses babies. Tories kiss hands and shake babies.
Labour are currently marginally better than the Tories.
But serious AND competent, surely neither?!!
Someone other than Sunak or Starmer will be pm?
😂🤣😂🤦🏽♂️🥴🤡
💩🤡
What I'd love Starmer to manage to do if he wins is to restore some cross-party consensus. I'm bored of living in a country where whoever wins, 50% of the voting public spend the next 5 years miserable, because they get nothing they voted for. Not every political decision has to be aimed at pleasing one of two extremes, it has just ended up that way. And please look at proportional representation.
Starmer has long since said he doesn’t support pr. Don’t you guy’s follow any news programmes?
I believe we are heading towards a Labour led coalition government. Labour are no longer at one extreme of the political spectrum, they now occupy the centre ground abandoned by the Tories. That’s why after voting Conservative all my life, I abandoned the Tories in 2019.
@@justinneill5003so when were Labour extreme?
@@keithparker1346 OK perhaps “extreme” is a bit strong, but hard left under Corbyn
@@justinneill5003 what was hard left about Corbyn?
Labour definitely have their priorities set in the right direction compared to conservatives but, for me I'm still leaning to Greens. Would make so much sense to introduce Single Transferable Voting as this would allow best representation of seat allocations and what people want. Instead we have outdated competition of 2 major parties either this or that scheme. I am sure there are many people who would want to vote greens or liberal or what ever as their preferred or second choice which would give those parties more of a voice and a platform.
🤡
Keir Sparkler
Keir Harmer.
Shine bright like a diamond 💎
Are you ill?
What's the point of Labour fixing things and creating hope only to allow the Tories to slide back in like nothing happened only to not only break things again but make things worse.
Tony Blair backtracked on PR, big mistake. Will Starmer correct that mistake knowing how far to the right the Tories have gone or will he ignore PR and allow 1933 when the Tories slide back in?
Labour vote allows you to work until you drop .Tory is get into business and be independent .Therefore one can then see the writing on the wall

The feeling of sincerity and purpose is completely different from the messages and tonality of the Tory conference.
And I totally agree that many Tories just cannot see The Country. The ones who could have all been kicked out.
Yup you don't see that from Roland the rat
there might still be a 2-4-1 on at SPECSAVERS if you’re lucky
Would appeal more if he stopped blethering about the conservatives, that old mushroom. The future is the most important point.
BRILLIANT SPEECH! Makes Rishi Sunak look like a bungling schoolboy!
No mention about illegal boat migrants , won't be getting my vote
7 out of 10 at best, but we can only play the hand we’re dealt comrades.
I don’t vote Labour and don’t’have to’ on a solid Labour seat.
But socialists need to stop berating him and push for as much radicalism as possible when they’re in government.
He’s going to have to be radical to survive.

Great speech. Britain really needs the Labour Party to secure her future & get her back on the road to success

And My Lord my client is innocent .Therefore Mr Capone must walk free
Mr Capone died in 1947.
Man did Starmer a massive favour! Imagine what the press would of made of the plans to have men in white coats in our schools picking out children for The Common Market, but are British kids going to be worth more than Israeli ones? (This practice is already under way)!
No hope at all!
We know who Starmer really works for...!
And he will Never work for us!
I must be missing something I will vote Labour. No doubt. But he is boring. Nothing grabs you. Obama, Clinton yes even Blaire are great public speakers. They grab you and force u to believe in there vision. Keir don’t. Maybe that’s the country needs. A boring PM who gets the job done for the working class.
On the First Day of the last Labour Blair Government when The Joint Chiefs left the crying, quivering mess that was the PM as it dawned on Him his responsibilities during a Nuclear Exchange eyebrows were raised. So much so Margaret Thatcher was summoned to Downing Street to try to steady the fools nerves. If Starmer were to win I expect the same to happen.
Meh reform is a little more my think
So what are your policies on managing climate change, KS?
More credible than the present shower.

Glittering generalisations

Starmer doesn’t have a clue on the economy.
What about the numpties since 2010?
labour wont have the money to spend as they wish; so taxes will increase!!!
I'm happy to pay more tax if it means the country gets back on track. That's the attitude those who earn higher should have. Tax the more fortunate.

How can an individual, bereft of the capacity to differentiate between a man and a woman, be deemed equipped with the essential knowledge and proficiency required to proficiently oversee a nation?
Imagine a bigot trying to sound eloquent by using all the biggest words they can think of. Yet still manages to use proficiency (bad choice of word for what you mean anyway) almost immediately followed by proficiently.
I don’t know how you can think yourself armed with the knowledge needed to comment on anything at all when you make primary school level mistakes on your english.
Ironically the manifestation of incoherently unacceptable writing principles on the acceptable use of logistical interpretations of the conceptual interpretations of irregular working practices, such as masodgonistic interpretations of literal illiteracy is there for not one but for all!

We certainly need change from the 2 main parties but Reform isn't the change

Indeed, but if they don't talk no one will know the plans.
Genuine question, what can a politician do other than that, when not in power?
Jumped up barrister
Jumped up RUclips troll?
Starmer's rationale as to why the people are looking at Labour is delusional. The only reason that people are looking to Labour is because there isn't really anyone else to look at. The Tories are a proven disaster, the LibDems a mystery and parties like Reform are nothing more than English nationalists and a disaster for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Although in Northern Ireland the English centric major parties are largely irrelevant anyway. The only reason people are looking at your party Sir Keir is because at this moment in time, you are the most edible apple in a barrel of rotten ones.
3rd parties exist but far too many people are stuck in the 2 party mindset that they lack the courage to abandon both Labour and Conservative
Vote Reclaim or Heritage Party. Or independent. Anyone but the WEF puppets.
The only redeeming feature of the speech is the glitter on Keir Starmer. Was it persuasive to lure the border line voters...? It's all heavy going, I miss the brilliance and lightness of touch of the old Blair....
He's saying the right things but he's not a natural orator in my book. But I'll take that over a great orator with the wrong policies.
Kier Starner is more than likely incompetent
You don't know that. You DO know the Tories are incompetent.
Ironic that you are suggesting he is incompetent when you can't even get his name right
And Trilateral Commission through and through!
The millions of refugees and incomers have brought our NHS down
not the Tories?
If Labour doesn’t even have a grip on their own security just imagine how the are going to handle the borders
It's unlikely the security would have been done by Labour that would have been the authorities.
