My fiancé devoured these books in his youth… went on to accomplish much and lose much until his middle age when he utilized all he’d read and learned to become a powerfully wise and kind and quiet person. He died last year and left me to patent and realize his brilliant projects - allowing me to support myself and bring his legacy to life. He began to refer to Don Juan teachings for the two years before his sudden death. So here I am. Listening helps me with grief and gives me insight into what I knew KNEW as a child.

Knowing that making mistakes is just part of life gives me the courage to get out of my comfort zone many times because I will never learn something new if I'm so afraid of fucking up. In fact, I recently joined a toastmaster club. This weekend, I'll be in front of a small group of people to give my 1st speech on stage, which scares the hell out of me but that's ok. I know that fear is part of life but it's all about having the courage to overcome fears.

Carlos actually wrote fiction but classed them as non-fiction...and you, me, and everyone else bought it. Took a lot of research to find this out. He retired with two women in the western US desert. Later, the woman committed suicide, he died of cancer.

Carlos actually wrote fiction but classed them as non-fiction...and you, me, and everyone else bought it. Took a lot of research to find this out. He retired with two women in the western US desert. Later, the woman committed suicide, he died of cancer.
They did NOT all commit suicide! Carlos died of cancer.
