Super helpful video!! Congrats on passing🥰 I definitely agree on the being able to apply everything and not memorizing things. Keep up the great content! 💓
thank you!!
Thanks so much for your post 🙏🏾I’ve been looking for a video on this subject
you’re very welcome!! I know it was hard for me to find these videos
love this CONGRATULATIONS
SUPERRRRRRR!!!!!!!! HELPFUL!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can you please provide which books did u use for the exam please?
Super helpful!
Heyy how did your prelimenary score differ from your final
How long it took u to study?
How many questions is the ARRT?
Congrats on passing!! I watched your previous SPI video as well, were you still in school when you took these exams or out of school?
I’m sooooo sorry for the late reply, RUclips has not been helpful with notifications! 😅 so I took the SPI when I was still in school, and the ARRT/ARDMS right after graduating
Hi ,
Thanks for the great job.
When you apply for the Ardms spi exam and your documents are accepted,
how long can they accept you to wait before you schedule to take the exam?
Thanks.
Hey, good question! From what I remember, once your documents and application are approved by ARDMS, you should be able to schedule your exam right away. Make sure to schedule with enough time to study!
If you haven’t yet, check out my video on How I Passed the SPI for more details ❤️
So I took my ARRT on Wednesday and got a prelim score of 77, but it said my ABD score was 7.6 and OBGYN was 7.2 and I read somewhere that I needed a 7.5 on both sections soo I'm confused on whether or not I passed 😥
Hey! So that is correct, unfortunately I’m not sure if passing most of it is enough for them to pass you :( they’re pretty strict on scoring but I hope the weight of the other scores is enough to pull you through. I’m here for you either way!
Hi, I bought the book you mentioned I just start my studying am taking the ARRT in November. Do you think the just the "Examination review for Ultrasound Abdomen and Obstetrics " is the only thing I need. I dedicate Wednesdays to physics only. I was looking for your email to talk to you private and ask silly question.
Hi! Yes the book was a great start for me, I also used the website ultrasoundregistryreview.com, they have great resources. 😊
Such a helpful video. I am going to take it in about a month. Did you only use the red penny book to study?
I found that ultrasound registry review helps! It’s online, glad I’m able to help :)
@@thatcurlysonographer where can I find this.
Hey! This video was super helpful, thank you! I was wondering if I could get in contact with you. I’m scheduled to take my ARRT next month and I’m overwhelmed.
Hi! So sorry for the late reply, you can always reach out to my on Instagram @thatcurlysonographer :)
Helpful video girl! How long did you take to study before you took the test ?
honestly if I remember correctly, I studied straight out of school (and even through clinicals) and my first attempt at the exam was mid-April so I would say about 3 weeks, then my second attempt was from that point till May so a little over a month of re-studying ☺️
Awesome! I’m re taking it too so watching this video was really helpful! Thanks again 😊
Hello, how long did you study for the ARRT?
I’m looking for a tutor, are you interested and available?😊
Hi! Honestly throughout my clinicals and maybe a month after graduating I spent as much time studying as I could. As for tutoring I would recommend myultrasoundtutor on Facebook! I’ve heard great things about them!
Hi! I just took my ARRT today but didn’t see my preliminary score. I accidentally clicked to fast lol if I didnt pass do I still get a thick envelope or is that if you pass only. I want to know hat to look out for lol. Thank you!
Hi! So you definitely get mail from them with your final results in about a month, I believe both come in bigger envelopes. I’m sure you did great!
@@thatcurlysonographer Thank you for your study suggestions. I passed ARRT on my first attempt. Now prepping for RDMS.
@@stephaniesalazar-xv5gl Hey! just wondering what you used to study? thanks!
Did you attend a program and then take your ARRT? Or did you study, take your ARRT and, then attend a program?
@@kslayyy_ I graduated from my program then studied for about a month before taking my ARRT
Hi, I wanted to know do you need to pass thd SPI first to take ARRT?
Generally, yes, at least in my school that was the instruction we were given. I believe there’s a certain timeframe you have to pass the SPI even after graduating before taking any other exam. Hope this helps!
Yes, according to the ARDMS site you always have to take the SPI first regardless of the route. If your program is accredited by CAAHEP, then ARRT isn't necessary. The ARRT is required for programs who aren't accredited by CAAHEP. You can verify if you're program is accredited by checking on CAAHEP.org. And you can find more about route to becoming a RDMS here: www.ardms.org/wp-content/uploads/pdf/ARDMS-General-Prerequisites.pdf
So if program Accredited your route is:
1. SPI (Once finished with physics and receiving a C or above grade) and
2. ARDMS (after finishing the program and having passed the SPI)
If not accredited:
1. SPI (Once finished with physics and receiving a C or above grade) and
2. ARRT (after finishing the program and having passed the SPI)
3. ARDMS (after passing the ARRT)
@@PurityFamily very well said! Thank you!
@@thatcurlysonographer thank you and congratulations on your achievement! Currently awaiting to take my SPI. Prayingggg 🙏🏻
@@PurityFamily you got this! I’m available if you need anything!
Tysm for this. Please have me in your prayers on 7/11/24!!! 🥹
@@MissZumbaFitness hey! How was it?
Why do you have to take the ARDMS if you take the ARRT? I have been an RDMS and don't want to go into that money trap again.
You don’t necessarily have to, but a lot of hiring places (at least where I live) don’t always recognize the ARRT for Sonography, or they would prefer you have your RDMS. I like to have both registries to make it easier for me and my employer
Taking mines tomorrow 😱 lol im scoring at least 85 on practice test for the penny book you have. Is that enough? Lol
Was it enough?
Also curious if that was enough? I’m taking mine in a week and getting 80-90% each time I take the mock ARRT on thepoint website for the Penny book
Did you guys pass it? I had a date scheduled to take mine but I got scared and moved it till a later date now.
Where can i find a practice exam for the ARRT?
Generally speaking, when it comes to test-taking, DON'T change your first answer UNLESS you know for sure it's incorrect!
yup!
guuuuurlll I took the exam over the weekend!!! and man! im out here thinking a week of studying was gonna be enough! Maybe for others, but not for me at all! I failed it by 2 points lol I know the feeling 🥲
Congrats!!!! I have a question did you take your ARDMS already, or did you have to take the ARRT first before being able to take the ARDMS??!! Would be super helpful if you did a video over this because my sonography program is accredited but not by CAAEHP so I can’t sit for my ARDMS as soon as I graduate but I want to know if I take my ARRT and pass first then I can sit for the ARDMS
great question! so my school wasn’t accredited so I did have to sit for ARRT, then once I passed my professor was able to sign me up for ARDMS. I was able to sit for the OB/GYN exam July 2nd and now I’m taking the Abdomen next Tuesday, August 17th!
@@thatcurlysonographer sending you lots of good luck and energy today with your Abdomen registry! Would love a video in the future on your experience and study techniques for ARDMS registries if you get the chance 😌🤍
