You inspire me so much! Thanks for the sunscreen stick information. You should make a video about how you got into stanford and med school and everything like that!
I definitely will! I made one a year ago about my path in dermatology - hope you check it out
Thank you for the video! Seems perfect for reapplying (which I admittedly don’t usually manage to do 🙈)
Thank you for watching Anne!
Not only you’re a knowledgeable dermatologist and gorgeous, you have a really beautiful voice! Subscribed!
I only wear makeup during evenings or special events because I like reapplying my regular sunscreen (La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid) and worrying about moving my makeup. I can’t trust SPF powders, sprays, makeup, etc. but I may try sticks when I don’t want to get my hands dirty. Interesting!
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing - I appreciate the support! Lmk what you think of the sticks :)
What sunscreen do you recommend for young kids (especially those who hate greasy feel
)? thanks!
Thanks for sharing can you talk about powder sunscreen too thanks
Thanks for watching! Yes I can review those in the future
Hi great video is it safer a mineral sunscreen ???
Hello! Thanks for the informative video! Just wanna know, is it okay to use sunscreen lotion of a different brand as the original sunscreen with a sun stick for reapplication? Thank you!
100% yes!
so weird, I have the MDSolarSciences Solar Stick and it doesn't have any white cast one me, its very clear on, has a sheen and is so smooth. Light skin, warm undertone. I went to to try it again to make sure I wasn't walking around with a chalky face without knowing . (= Love sunscreen sticks for touchups, but totally agree would never use them as my only sunscreen.
That’s so interesting! I’ll need to try it again. It’s so hard with mineral sunscreens. I’m fair skinned with red undertones
I have sensitive eyes which burn like mad when I apply sunscreen. Would using sunsticks for the eye area and sunscreen for the rest of my face neck and exposed body parts stop my eyes burning. As literally, the only reason I do not ever apply sunscreen on is that my eyes are just light aflame in pain. So of course have been trying to find painless alternatives as that pain stops me from putting suncream on ever and now I am hitting me 30s recently I think looking at sunprotection is likely a better idea now than 40.
Use mineral sunscreens so that even if they get in your eyes it won’t hurt.
Depending on your skin tone, Might take some trial & error to find a tinted mineral sunscreen that suits your skin tone without leaving a white cast.
Mineral sunscreens are things like zinc oxide, titanium dioxide.
I was using US sunscreens like neutrogena & they were greasy & stingy! I decided to switch to European & Asian sunscreens & haven't had stinging yet. If you are in the US I like the banana boat light as air on the face & body.
Raw Elements, Neutrogena, Cerave, Cetaphil. Would like reviewed please.
Hello! Are these sunscreen sticks or specific products?
@@TeawithMD They are also sun sticks.
Inisfree stick is noncomedogenic ?
❤Thank you for sharing the real way AAD says to put stick on-- not four layers at a time- yuck
