This was my favourite TV show during high school and I used to record them VHS tapes. Now, it is much more easier to watch and find old episodes on digital format, like RUclips. This brings back memories of the old days. Even by today's standards, this car is still beautiful and unique.

I much prefer KITT in Convertible Mode than in Super Pursuit Mode, because he’s basically the same as he normally appears, but with the roof down. Of course either way, if I had to choose, I would rather have KITT in Normal Mode.

Kitt had a special bonded shell around him that protected him from all those stuff they encountered,if you watch some episodes they were using those weird light stuff upon the vehicle for that purpose i presume.Without this special cell his entire body can be ruined with a simple crash in a road trip.To tell you the truth it was a miracle they survived even the turbo boost landing without the bonded shell!!! In this two parter they basically wet kitt with some kind of formula that destroying this shell before the encounter with the juggernaut,because if kitt had it on him it would be a really hard nut to crack.And surely they would have lost their chance getting michael & kitt out of the game!

@@TwesomE I think he gets the shell back after this episode, it isn't shown on screen but in later episodes he's bulletproof and he can still smash though stuff without a scratch so I think the shell must have been replaced.
