Tennessee’s home runs this year is way more impressive than the current record that LSU set years ago because the bats they were using are now considered illegal and also there were no “run rule” games back then either. Both of which affect those numbers by a ton.

When you are discussing statistics for players comma can you do a subset that is weeding out the weaker teams? For example, how A&M played against the Longhorns or Ducks is more relevant than how they played against Houston Christian. Maybe Q1 or Q1 and Q2 teams?
Its the noles time to finally win one they have been to the Cws more then anyone in the country with out winning one. 23 Cws appearance, hopefully the 24th appearance is finally the one.
Virginia disrespect is kinda crazy, UNC is a great team but they barely made it out of their regional and their super regional. Every game is a nail biter with UNC

Getting Arnold deep into at bats and putting pressure on him as much as possible will be huge. Florida State’s bullpen has been its weakness all year. Seeing Link Jarrett again definitely has some feels, kind of giving us the opportunity to confront our past demons this year yet again this week as well.
Go noles link Jarret turned around our arguable worst season in school history to getting us to Omaha first time in 5 years in a matter of 1 year. The future is bright in Tallahassee!

Im an FSU fan and im glad to be back in Omaha. Figured we draw the top team first game. Our pitching is iffy at times, i give Tenn the edge. If the wind is blowing in it could be a defensive struggle 😊😊

Tennessee did lose the Alabama series early in the season.
This situation they are about to face against a shutdown pitcher in Arnold is the exact one I feared for Tenn. They have great pitching depth, but not elite at the top. Still good, but vulnerable. They've dropped a few opening matches. And with there being enough rest days, its possible to have to beat two aces.

When you play against weak pitching, you can hit a ton of homeruns. They wont do that against FSU!
Fully just depends on if they keep the same pitching matchups or swap them. FSU’s starting guy for Fridays has given up the most home runs on their team this season. Also as long as wind isn’t crazy both teams have the power for days to hit home runs in that park

Loved a lot of this video but do you guys watch a lot of ball or just your favorite teams? I feel like a lot of what y’all were discussing was mostly stats off a sheet and the constant mispronunciation of names on multiple teams caught my attention. Not just randos but major players on one of the eight best teams in the country
We do watch a ton of ball, however, we're an SEC channel so most of it is concentrated there. I do know who most of the major draft prospects are outside the SEC (Jamie Arnold, Vance Honeycutt, etc.), however, I'd be lying if I told you we were intimately familiar with the rosters of ACC teams. - Chris

IMO Tenn has been the most consistent team szn. If you are Tenn just stay focused on task at hand, be patient at the plate, i think they will be fine. If they get down a run & start pressing etc that’s when issues can come trying to get it all back in one inning. Lots of ppl don’t speak on Tenn pitching but it’s T3 ERA this season.

Fla St. has a ton of home runs also. They also have multiple pitchers who can shut down
I watched FLST in the deciding super regional game and they passed the eye test. Looked up their stats and they compare favorably with TN. I like TN, but FLST could beat anyone in the SEC in a series.
Tennessee stats are better across the board fsu isn't on Tennessee level they hit the second most hr in baseball history

The CWS is played in a big ballpark, not many HR are hit there.
Either is Kentucky and Tennessee beat them
