    I live on one of these on the Grand Union Canal at Uxbridge I rescued her from being scrapped She is a house boat now no engines I didn't realise what an important boat she was though she is beautiful.

    Thanks, Tom. Another fine job! I was angling to get a sedan trawler after I sold my Beneteau 40, but, it wasn't in the cards. Still riding, tho.

    First round Britain was 1969 not 61.also you show his boat Grand Espoir as his entrant,it was in the race but his boat was Horatia.

    The hull looks a little like a life boat on the hard at a local marina by me.

      I believe Halmatic produced a 50' Nelson and Goodchild Marine have the moulds.
