When i watched the first episode for the first time, i was convinced Pam was played by Amy Adams. Then...next episode, Amy Adams shows up just to let me know I was wrong 🤯
Amy probably auditioned for the role of Pam. Obviously, she didn't get it, but the casting director was nice enough to hire her as a dayplayer.
Yeah, I noticed Jenna Fischer (the actress who played Pam) and Amy Adams are look alike. Even Michael mentioned that Katy (the character that Amy played) is hotter version of Pam.

Is it really? I totally thought it was Phoebe Cates. I thought that was the second level of comedy being that Phoebe Cates is best known for her opening up her top part of her red bikini and revealing herself in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, which is what the older actress (“Lily”) seemed to be referencing with how she was acting with her blouse. So it made it extra silly that Jack was into the old woman but not the hottie he came in with, standing by his side.
But then, I realized Phoebe was probably to old for when this scene was filmed for The Office, so I looked it up. That’s crazy to see how much Jessica looked like Phoebe back in the day!
