I have 6 of the Mad Catz Medium Heavy rods. I am working towards pairing them all with a Shimano Tekota 600 HGA. I have 4 of them done and 2 more to go. IMO, this combo is one of the best rigs money can buy. There isn't a catfish out there that I think could over match this rig. Thanks for sharing...
My absolute favorite are the Ugly Stiks. I grew up fishing with them and have never had a failure with any of them. But there are many great rods out there including the Mad Katz rods. I think as long as you choose one of the quality catfish rods, any of them would be fine. And your right, there are a ton of them to choose from!
hes obviously not using the clicker in the sense youre thinking. The spool is locked, clicker on hence why the rod can load up without hearing the clicker go off. if you dont know what youre talking about dont speak.

If you using Circle hooks, don't put the clicker on....they hook themselves. That's your problem.
