Great review, though I would like to mention that you are wrong about AC: Valhalla not offering FSR. Using the latest build there is a older version of FSR which was implemented months after the game had come out. It actually gives a nice boost when set on quality.
Looking forward to AMD's 890m iGPU next month. This laptop has a 1920x1200 resolution. I wonder how that output impacts the performance compared to standard 1080p. I can imagine x1200 screens will be more common with Amd's newer APUs.
Nice video . Some questions about frame generation. How is the latency ? Does the image quality drops with frame gen ? If there is latency how it is compared with no frame gen ? Is frame gen good on competitive games ? And as far as i know ac walhalla has fsr . Last thing , on the las last of us ,is there a major difference ( in visuals )with high and ultra textures ? Cheers .
The added latency depends on the game, don't use vsync or a frame cap at the same time and you're fine. Around 10ms usually. I would not use it for competitive games, no. The image quality can drop slightly in some games if the generated frames are a bit off. You most likely won't notice it while actually playing a game though. Didn't compare high and ultra textures for TLOU.
how long would the 4060 be relevant in future titles to come any idea and any news about the next 5000 series cards coming out early next year the 5060 mainly i was wondering
4060 will still be a solid gpu, although depending on the native resolution (1080 or 1440 etc) it might require some graphic setting tweaking. As for news about 5000 series, I'm not too sure on the details but the pc cards are planned to be released in late Q4 I believe
Impossible to say but should be okay for the next 3 years while in 2-4 years you would probably often need to use medium settings only or use dlss balanced and performance.
what's the price of this laptop? and how is the build quality? hey sir i was wondering which laptop i should go for i have a max budget of $750-800 and was thinking of either nitro 5 or v with i5-12gen 4060 or ryzen 7 7735hs 4060 please recommend and i really liked loq but heard that it's having motherboard issues what should i do
1200$ mediocre. But that will be part of my regular review of this laptop. Didn't hear about loq MB issues? I'd prefer the loq. Bit overall the two Acer's will be okay if that is you budget. Don't get the Gigabyte G5!
@@Hubwood yep I was actually considering loq but have heard about motherboard issues, but the reason why i was preferring the old nitro 5 was because it has hdd expansion slot, I have also seen the predator with i5 and 4050 for about $800 my question is that between nitro and loq who is more durable and reliable my past experience with Lenovo especially there Thinkpad was horrendous and I have heard that both gigabyte and msi are notorious for bad build and thermals so what would you recommend should i go for loq or nitro with slightly higher specs or lower spec predator on sale your advice is really appreciated thanks for the answer though
You can check jarrods tech vid on it. Tldr, the laptop isn't really worth it right now unless you get a good deal. Cooling is a issue and software I've heard I'd also janky
@syedjunaidsher474 loq would be better as it has more features such as G-sync, advanced Optimus and a inbuilt overclock system in the vantage software Although I do believe that the acer has a more powerful gpu that gives better fps but not that much
@@shikikanaz4624 bro only the nitro 5 and nitro 16 are good the rest is overpriced c*ap , the loq is a real value king but I'm abit skeptical about the longevity especially after hearing the motherboard failure issues gigabyte and MSI at least at the lower end are to be avoided at all cost was thinking also about victus and tuf what do u say
I bought this crappy laptop and it's not worth half of its money. You can't undervolt it, it overheats and shuts down without a cooling rack. The loudness is unhinged and ruins the experience unless you play with headphones.
You're so underrated man! Thank you for making these videos! You deserve at least 1M subscribers 🔥
seriously, i like his videos

This es better, only this i7 is the Best
Amazing review
Thanks :)
Hey Hubwood, great content as usual. Could you perhaps start adding Wuthering Waves into your gaming benchmarks? if not, no worries.
I'll look into it but can't promise anything
Yo, maybe add the finals to your tests !
I will I will....
I hear german nice vid and ark Survival Evolved looks blurry when u have Bad WiFi idk why

How about external Monitor of this one??
Sure, you can add an external monitor without a problem.
Decent video
What is 1200p gaming is it 1080p or 1440p??
Neither. In-between. But closer to 1080.
Very good
Is 75c Is normal ?
Yes. 75 is pretty good for a laptop
