I found your video very clear and informative. Having watched how you spry directly in to the air intake to check for fuel delivery I tried this using carburettor cleaning fluid and it started first pull and kept running until I had mowed all the lawn. So, Thank you very much. If I have further problems I shall watch your video on how you clean the carburettor. I have done that successfully once on my band saw but not on my lawnmower..
2:26 Taking the fuel hose off - mine is just not coming off. Using pliers like you the rubber started to fret, I'm concerned using anymore force and the pipe will break. Any tips?

when I use the 10mm socket. the nuts won't loosen. They spin, but so do the bolts. Very frustrating cuz I need to replace my starter rope. I tried lube, I even tightened them more in hopes that I can just get the nuts to spin. still no luck. Everything still wants to spin together. 😭😭
I ended up backing the studs and whole shroud off. Then i put super glue in the stud female ends in the block and put it all back together. Then like 5 hours later, the top nuts actually broke loose as the studs were siezed from the glue.

Fantastic video and got my Honda mower working again. Anyone know why my filter housing was extremely oily and the cause?
you may have tipped the engine on its side with the air filter on the bottom and oil leaked into the filter.

You forgot to remove the fuel filter which is in the fuel hose right under the tank
