Wayne - if you didn't know, the two silver pipes that are with the red fire extinguisher are supposed to face the same way toward the rear of the car. When Eaglemoss scanned the car, one of those pipes had come loose and spun around. This was a mistake in the scan. So, Joe Walser suggests filing down the nub and turning that other pipe so that it too faces the rear. You may know this and choose to build as is, but if not, I wanted you to be aware! Love the channel!
Ahh Cool. Ill spin it round then :D. Easy fix. Thank you for that. I do remember Joe saying something about this but I couldn't think for the life of me which pipe it was :D
looking good Wayne mine has been put on hold still getting my issues just moving the hobby room from the loft to the spare room and going in hospital for 2nd hip operation on the 27th so every think is on hold
Hello Wayne, Can you explore what Kind of accessoires you use? Fishing wire, screwdrivers, tweezers etc. That were fantasitc. Just a small guide. Thank you. And of course i love to watch your Channel. Greetings from germany 🙂
You didn't need to file the bulk head. I screwed in one side, then squeezed the outsides of the base together, which compressed the console enough to slip into place in the bulkhead. It would be interesting to know how many people broke it trying to force it into place.
If you check out the shape of mine before I sanded it down though it was not square. It was cut in like a trapeze. I don't think that was right. Plus. My missus was happy that I finally had a use for the dremmel she got me :D
World of Wayne yes mine was that shape too your bot alone. If i had a dremmel i would have done the same, but i sort of stretched it out, i put one side in then lifted the other side then snapped it into place if that makes sense lol but i agree something wasn’t right:-) i too was sweating when looking at those loose cables in the black thing and the beginning :-( but wasnt too bad, these things look worse than they are.
I am very happy with your videos, they have been extremely helpful but with this thing costing about $2,500 AUD I'm really getting annoyed with missing parts or parts that don't fit or wrong instructions etc. My son and I are only up to this issue and we have had nothing but trouble with it since the start. I'm extremely happy with the detail of the build but their quality control is absolutely shit!!!!!! Especially for the price 😡
Thigh thank you! I had to file down the bulkhead as well!

Das ist eine gute Idee. Ich werde versuchen, das zu vervollständigen. Danke mein Herr

I knew, if i didnt file it, i would break it
I seen other people's video's on this issue 54, I wonder why yours is the only one who had to trim the bulkhead lol
I think mine was a little warped.
i didn't file my bilkhead, i have carpet too, it was tight but it did go in :-)
