At the moment looking like 18th or 19th Jan depending on how quickly we get there, somewhere in the vicinity of Verona. Only flights booked at the moment lol
@ I would if I could! I’ve just landed in verbier after 3 weeks in Zermatt. So excited to see what the snow is like here tomorrow. They have had loads too here
Top tip - my friend's Dad had a serious accident on a closed piste in Avoriaz - had a very generous insurance company as he was in Annecy hospital 4 weeks and then air ambulance back to UK. Thankfully a member of my family who was skiing with them refused to ski on the closed piste.. Well trained by yours truly!
Great video! I'm coming to Tignes on the 19th and am very eager but a bit sad as it seems the snowfall has diminished since last year. I usually love to go from Tignes Val Claret all the way to the Cascade lift in Val D'isere and back in a day but many lifts in that area are closed 😔 Hoping to see them slowly opening and receiving more snowfall before I arrive! 🤞
Thanks watching and your comment...a decent start ..I am just happy to have the skis back on ... Enjoy your time in Val Gardena ..hope to see you on the slopes for easter
Great to see your snow reports again. First turns this year are in Kitzbuhel in February - I'm very lucky to be able to get out skiing twice this year, mostly due to it being my 50th year on this planet! Anyway, back in Tignes around the Easter period. Keep up the great work and have a good season.
After that, we're going to Flaine in the last week of January, and Zel am See the first week of March. Three weeks of skiing - unprecedented for me, but I've caught the bug.
OOOHHH lovely .. I love Italy.. I have never skied the Dolomites just had to race there for competitions. I would love to go there. Please keep me posted on what it is like ....Enjoy
Thanks for subscribing... Yes, I love Italy and I have skied there a lot. The people are so friendly and the food is awesome...let me know how you get on in Jan and have fun ...😁
Mayrhofen in January, La Grave (my favourite place in the world) in February then Sere Chevalier in March which is probably one of the most underrated French resorts with some amazing off piste. Let’s hope we have a fantastic season 👍
@ I’ll always have a soft spot for Alagna and the Monterosa Ski area. Some of the best lift accessible off-piste and backcountry in Europe. Lots of weekend skiers from Milan but very chill through most of the season mid-week. Just don’t tell anyone 😀
It's snowing now at 1300m at the moment .. With the snow guns on the lower slopes I feel confident that they will open next weekend.. There was snow above the second lift before this snowfall..
Let me know when and where are your first skiing turns are this winter.. COMMENT BELOW 👇

Hi, what weather app did you use in the video?
Hi , Thanks for watching ...snow-forecast.com www.snow-forecast.com/
Tempted by the PSB but I did think it was a bit early in the season, and those sharks & closed off piste areas seem to confirm it.
There have been a few sharks out and about.. from mid-week with the fresh snow it was good 😁..when are you out?
@ - Sounds good for the conditions during the PIPAU!? But January is my preferred month, usually being a bit more cold & snowsure.
@@Benzknees so far its looking good for next week 😁
