A false equivalency. They're both persons. There's no transition happening because they're still persons. Christian is the descriptor of a person. Even if that Christian converts to Hinduism, he/she is still a person.
Trans woman is a descriptor of a man. It's a man that identifies as a woman, a type of man who is still not a woman. He still has the XY genes. He will NEVER get pregnant or give birth.....because he is a man. That's why that descriptor is used, to identify a man who identifies as a woman.

I had a female co worker who was having menstrual pains one day and I simply told her if she needs to take a minute and go to the ladies room I will hold the fort down until she gets back. I respect the differences and try to get things to work out. As a male im not exactly common in the young child care field. Over the past few years ive had to explain I would hold the doors for everyone because its simply a courtacy, I may be single and in my late 20s but not exactly looking for a relationship. So the constant comparison to my students parents is a bit of reopening a sealed wound. I may say "whats up guys" to a group of both men and women. Yet if it was just women than I would say "whats up ladies" or "whats up gals" or if just men than I would still say "whats up guys" or "whats up dudes". Its just taking a casual approach. If saying that is enough to get you upset thats your issue.
I dont make a big deal out of the signs in the bathroom telling other staff to throw away certain adult products rather than flush them. I dont make a big deal out of women getting maternity leave. If men did that everytime we got an awkward boner moment we would lose our jobs. We get hard simply due to a change in temperature sometimes.
When it comes to compitition and sports or entertainment its a matter of fairness and respect. We are different and thats ok. Im not trying to downplay women or men. Im not saying one is better than the other in every aspect. We just have our strengths and weaknesses most often associated with our sex.
Even with how we use dolls. Most biological males dont play with barbies. Even if they did they likely wouldnt use them the same way females do. You would have to teach them or show the boys how to play with the dolls nicely. Otherwise they are more likely to use them like action figures. Having them beat each other up or using them in more action oriented adventures. Like fighting off supervillains or gangs or punishing the bully they have in class. While girls typically use them for playing house or some kind of profession. Professions that they can seriously see themselves doing such as doctor, actress, singer, lawyer, accountant, store manager, cook, sailor, etc. I dont see girls having iron man working a grill for piper anytime soon. If anything he would have a smart ai grill or an ironman suit with grilling capabilities. He just wouldnt be doing a standard grill master roll. Its just not in his character. Yet thats how a girl would end up using his action figure alongside barbie.

I'm a biological anthropologist and sexual dimorphism very much exists in humans. I have no issues identifying males versus females with their skeletons and there are many ways to do this just through visual observations. There are all sorts of musculoskeletal differences between males and females where almost all of them make males physically stronger and faster than females. Obviously there are always exceptions but these decisions needs to be based upon the biological average.

Thank God we have actual scientists left in this day and age. That's exactly what I said being even when I was on the left that sexual dimorphism is a real thing and that in order for women to have rights there has to be a limitation put on not only them but on trans people based on the fact that men and women are in fact different there are some things that can change that are dimorphism like for instance the male breast can change to a female breast temporarily with hormonal shifts. Usually brought on by the use of hormones especially female hormones lactation and certain medications but it will change back immediately wants that goes away in some very rare instances it can change permanently but it's very rarely and it can be changed with again with surgery but that's about it that's that's the limit play no amount of surgery you can do will ever change any more than that you will never have a womb if you are a man a real man a physical anthem anatomical manif I was born a man will never menstruate men cannot menstruate I mean the fact that we're getting all up in our arms about basic human biology facts that I'm somewhere else somehow racist and pushed out of our own parties for telling the f****** truth is absurd

Advocates say gender is different from sex. Sex is biological, gender is mental. You can change your gender because it is subjective. You can not change your sex because it is objective. To then say that trans should compete with the sex that coincides with their gender identity conflates sex and gender, which violates the initial contention that gender and sex are different.

There’s lots of evidence from amateur girls’ football (soccer) from UK and Australia of trans players causing injuries to female players including broken bones. And this is in a sport which is supposed to be non- contact. The truth is these male players play the sport differently to the girls - they play more aggressively to begin with, then pair that with a male body - taller, heavier, stronger, greater stamina, faster muscle-twitch, longer reach, greater bone density … and you can see why female players are either walking off the pitch with season- ending injuries or are increasingly refusing to compete, in order to protect their physical safety and health.

    • @TreeDwellingShrimp
      @TreeDwellingShrimp 2 месяца назад

Also media outlets (especially in the US) are less likely to cover these stories because they know it's proof of what 'transphobes' have been saying. It's a bad look that boys/men who identify as trans are harming girls/women in so many different places and ways when those same women have been getting told for years that they're over reacting and being paranoid. It's mass gaslighting and misogynistic. There's tangible proof harm is being done in every space but the media and activists keep saying it's not and they tell us to not believe our own eyes.

Last year, my aunt told me I was transphobic because I didn't want trans women in a locker room with me. I felt bad about it for several months, but I don't care what people think anymore! Go ahead and call me transphobic. Also, biological men shouldn't be competing with biological females, period! Trans women inmates should not be housed with women either! Most female inmates have some sort of trauma caused by an adult male! For trans people in a bathroom, I don't really care. But to see a trans woman who hasn't transitioned and naked in a locker room? That's terrifying to me! I have a history of child SA and sexual assaults in my adult years by males. I'd feel highly vulnerable and nervous in that situation, even though the person meant no harm. We protect trans people, but we aren't protecting all women? We know a male can overpower a female! I'm 5'4" and 130 pounds, and my ex-husband was 5'8" and 140 pounds. Not much bigger, but he would hold me down for hours, and I couldn't get away from him.. I think everyone should feel safe, but we need to remember how many females have a history of child SA or experienced DV by males. A lot of women! Women must start standing up for other women and stop remaining quiet about it! Protect trans people, but ALL women, too!

Not 1 woman has ever beaten a man but it's to be expected and it's purely for fun, It's also helped setup some couples so win-win. Gymnastics was my first choice (the second one was sailing, but that was waaaaay too expensive) but, when I finally convinced my father to let me start an introductory course I only got a month before the trainer told my father that my body type could not win competitions and he withdrew me.
I was heart broken, I wasn't interested much in competition, I just wanted to do gymnastics. No one ever asked me if I wanted to do another sport. Meanwhile my brother, that was the only male child, got to try 5 different sports in a two year span.
He was spoiled, not interested in sports at all. My father just hoped that training would teach him to behave and become a "team player". That didn't work.

If gender identity becomes more important than sex all we are saying in most situations is that females need not apply if males are interested.

13 years ago the argument was that gender is an identity while sex is biological. And most people weren't bothered because it was "whatever - you do you" type of thing. I just used biological terms (male/female) which annoyed people but I wanted to be clear in my language when discussing certain topics.
The problem is that about 7 years ago, someone said that wasn't the case and now no one bats an eye when a male says he is female - biological terms.

Then I blinked and this shit starting taking over everywhere. Now it's in schools, in children's cartoons, it's changed the way people talk in government, you can be "X" on your driver's license, the gays aren't gay anymore because gender ideology canceled them out somehow, LGBT are infighting, bathrooms aren't segregated anymore, transwomen are infringing on women's rights, mothers are "birthing people." I once worked with a man who had to wear long sleeves at work because he had a tattoo on his forearm. Disney for years didn’t allow tattoos to be shown and even now there are restrictions on size and what it is. But this allowance is because society is much more accepting of tattoos.

I haven’t watched yet, but this is the partnership I’ve been waiting for. What an impressive pair of young women. Lead the way ladies. Society needs you! ❤💕🔥

Rather than a men’s category and women’s category, it ought to be thought of as a women’s category (in recognition of the physical disadvantage inherent in sex, which will always deny women the opportunity to participate in sport unless a protected category exists) and an open category (which, while it will by default almost always BE a de facto men’s category, at least at the elite level, should nonetheless be theoretically open to the odd remarkable woman who is capable of competing at the highest level, at least where safety isn’t a factor)

I’m a lifeline athlete in my 30s. I could not imagine being in school as a little girl now and having to step aside so a man can feel special because he was too mediocre to compete with his own sex. I’d get beat up for sure
