I am not much of a metal guy but always loved this song. We used to play this on the way to the beach before a surf session. Good times...so gonna learn this song, thanks!
Thanks Alex for this another awesome lesson. I love Pantera, I love This Love.
I can't wait for the solo part♥
your awesome alex, love all your lessons! it doesnt get any heavier or better than pantera! dimebag, the greatest guitar player who ever lived for my money!
Dude, Your lessons are the absolute best. I love your format. So helpful. Thank you
Great song choice, your tutorials are excellent. Would love to see more of the “cool licks” videos also
Excellent job, you always choose the best songs to teach. Thank you one more time, you pupil from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Thank you very much,Pantera is the best for me

Would love to see you do some Down or Corrosion of Conformity
Gracias!! Saludos desde España
Thank you
So good
The song is very nice
Hugs since Brazil🇧🇷🎸
I got the 666th like!
He dude PERFECT video. I love how you named chords and didn't just stick to "now from the 2nd fret of the 6th string
.." kind of thing. Many people think taking a single day (yes that's all it takes if that) to learn basic basic theory is a waste or nerdy. I wished I had dove into theory a long time ago
thanks!
Cogratuleison gracias hermano
More Pantera))
What did you use to get that tone?.. Its pretty damn awesome!
Oldie but goodie🤘🏻😎🎸
Could you have a go at black betty by ram jam , such a classic song to learn
@16:50 the riff is quite technical involving some sweep picking, perhaps there should be own video just for that riff...
i would alternate pick that lick and start it on a downstroke; it is really weird and you'll have to catch the a string on an upstroke between the d and a but alternate picking is the easiset and cleaniest way to get er done on that one; give it a shot
Thank you for your timestamp comment, it's the exact part I wanted to refresh myself with! It's been a while since I played it, and couldn't remember a part of it! Your comment was the first one I noticed too lol
Yo, it's half-step tuning at 450 hertz. Took me forever to figure it out but it's just normal half-step tuning set to 450hz instead of 440hz.. A '1/4th' step down from standard so it's like half way between standard an half step. AC/DC's first couple of records were tuned like that and Van Halens first couple of records are close to this tuning as well. Fun fact: If you tune to drop D in this tuning(C#-G#-C#-F#-A#-d#) *set for 450hz!* you can play all of the songs dime did that were tuned down to whole step at 450hz without having to tune all strings down you can just drop the 6th string down to Drop C# and you can play all of Vulgar Display of Power's(New Level, Walk ect) and Far beyond driven's songs (5 mins alone ect.) It's a different fingering to play with drop tuning but it is all possible! Easy way to play any song from CFH, Vulgar, and Far beyond driven by just down tuning one string! Great southern trendkill has like drop G so it won't work with the OG 450hz tuning but ALL songs from the 3 best albums can be played with these two tunings makes life easy if you love Dimebag! RIP
@@adamdevo7179 it's actually more difficult to play in drop except a new level but I just use drop when I'm on the fly live since I only have one guitar I prefer to use D standard in 425hz but if I'm in a hurry I either use drop tuning or keep it in D standard and use a capo on the 2nd fret when I wanna go back to standard in 425hz lol
Wow
do becoming by pantera
The best part start at 17:28
I think 425 Htz tuned to e standard does it. edited to add, I just tried it, it is spot on
i used a red snark super tight tuner, really nice clip on $15 just about everywhere
Are you playing with the top side of your pick?
Eadgbe/half step up ...Open(e) 2(a) open (d)...1(e), 2(a), d open, 2(a), 1(e) repeat. Then move down a string.. open(a), 2(d), open (g), then 1(a), 2(d), open g. Repeat the whole thing .
Then.....
2(a), open d, open G, 1(a), open d, open g
2(e),2(a), open d (picking)..3(e), 2(a), open d. Good luck
Shedding Skin by PANTERA..... Plz...
Underrated riff
tunning?
There's a much easier and more accurate playing if this is regular e tuning.
hes not barring the d string yet he plays in tune. how is that so?
So many goofy tabs back in the day claimed the break down riff after the "No more head trip" part was based around F and G (rather than E and F#). Made no sense and sounded awful. LOL.
риф в середине не так играется
F# locrian ?
