This is a lesson on How to play Jack The Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots by Black Sabbath. Very cool song with a few twists, nice section using Octaves and a swing feel Verse section.

Alex is one of the best guitar instructors on youtube. What seperates him from the others is his professionalism.
This is really great! In watching Black Sabbath live videos I see that sometimes Tony does not hold and arpeggiate the G minor chord form but rather plays the notes, moving his fingers as if playing a lead (while still muting). This much easier to play and very fluid.
Alex you're a great teacher, reallly helpful. I'm not a native english speaker too, i'm italian and not so good in english but I can understand 100% of your clear and calm speaking, keep on rockin' man :)

Those octaves are used in jazz...yeah he's a bad ass!

I'm pretty sure Tony detuned his guitar down three steps To C# before playing this. It's played in the Key of G at the fifth fret. So everything you are playing us correct, only two frets too low. Listen to the song, Tony gets that deep tone from detuning the guitar and playing in the G position at the start modulating to other jets throughout.

Your backing tracking great, too. And to younger musicians, don't do the corporate thing. It's not worth it.... :-)

Damn dude, i only took a 4 year break and yes i gotta admit it is stupid, im back on it again, currently 23 and started when i was in 3rd grade, those breaks ain't worth it, its a great hobby

@@chefboiiyardee6014 guitar tuna is good in a pinch but I find it's not that accurate, and I find it more convenient to just clip one onto the headstock and forget about it.
