Travis was (is) a great producer but a lot of the guitar that you're hearing with his stuff (and kanye's) is added to the track by Mike Dean. He's a world class engineer, producer, and classically trained musician. He's engineered so many of the top acts for decades and really gets to flex his guitar skills with Travis (who he sort of discovered 5/6 years ago). He travels on tours with these guys to play the guitar and synths live for performances.
I think you'll find Travis Scott has quite a few bad tracks, especially on the album this is from, but I don't blame him, he's super creative and he's seems to be experimenting quite a lot so some of it isn't gonna hit as well as the best stuff. I really love like half of Travis' material but I don't really care for the rest.
Even if you don't post a reaction video for it. You both should definitely check out 'Astrothunder' from his new album. Beautiful production with trippy synths and amazing guitar riffs. Vocals are mesmerizing. Overall it's a really amazing, chill song by Travis. I think you both would enjoy it a lot actually. Definitely my favorite song from his new tape.
