Ren would probably give you a good tumble. He is getting healthy but he is far from cured and is fragile. And that I imagine putting it mildly !! What he is going through right now has got to be one of the most inspirational things I have ever noticed. And he is still working and doing it all, I am sure he has a pretty great team of friends for support and help . But it's all Ren !!

The original had 3 verses, a nice hook and was 4;19 long, Ren's retake had two verses no hook, with a slight background mix change at the halfway point, and was almost exactly half the length at 2;14 long. Nas is on most Hip-hop heads top5 or top3 rappers all time, and his 1996 debut album "illmatic" is considered by many to be the best Hip-hop album of all time, and this song here, "Halftime" was the first single off of it. Just putting in context how much testicular fortitude it took for Ren to even attempt a re-take of such a song, he's gotten nothing but praise from the Hip-hop world, but I'm just saying, it could have gone horribly wrong.
Bro, you gotta listen to the original by nasty Nas Illmatic halftime the halfway song of the album consider the top 10 rap album of all time most considered Nas the top five rapper of all time, and when you actually hear how Renren takes a lot of the words in the original and flips it, or use it synonyms to salute him, but doesn’t copy him. It’s amazing. He’s honoring a song and a artist Nas halftime check it out. That’s the song halftime.
