- In this video I'm going to talk about a simple natural remedy to help get rid of phlegm in your lungs.
Let’s talk about how to get rid of phlegm in your lungs.
Common treatments for phlegm or mucus either suppress or pull mucus out. Anytime you suppress mucus, you may end up having the infection longer and weaken your immune system. Typical treatments also come with potential side effects.
Keep in mind that it’s important to exercise your lungs if you're dealing with phlegm. You can do this by alternating breathing through your nose using your chest and breathing through your nose using your stomach.
Radishes are one of the best foods to get rid of phlegm-if you can, try adding them to your diet.
Here is the best natural remedy for phlegm in the lungs.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp. onion juice
1 tbsp. honey (Manuka honey if possible)
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Water
Optional ingredients:
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Ginger
Add all of the ingredients to a cup of water and drink the mixture three times a day.

Weather is about to change. I get allergic cough and dryness in airways, plus I'm a smoker. I used to have lemon ginger tea with honey. Adding onion certainly makes sense but separately. Take steam twice a day with water only and don't need any medicine. Thank you doc.
