Congratulations on your world record. It's an achievement which should make you proud. That being said, Is there a particular reason you haven't posted/made a Nation Guide in two months? You used to post your videos in a pattern with a new Nation Guide coming out about every other week. I really look forward to the insights, tips, and strategies you include in your Nation Guides, and they have elevated my personal game play. I really hope you start posting more Nation Guides regularly; they are the main reason I subscribe to your page.

Say what you want about Paradox and their DLC policies, but I am very happy we're no longer in the westernisation days of 1.17.
The Ashikaga Daimyo's mindset during this alternate timeline will be the kind of thing that scholars would spend the next millenia studying to try and figure out just how much of it was luck, how much of it was genius and how much of it was schizophrenia.
I think they will be more concerned over why the korean king decided to just send their entire garrison on vacation simultaneously

At around 18:00 wouldn't it have been better for your main army to be on Iwami or Chickuzen because their ports share the sea tile with the Korean provinces, unlike Suo whose port is on the other coast. Then you could have moved troops by the ships docking instead of marching on & off.

If you look at most of those he's in first, and then nobody is in 2nd or 3rd. That means nobody else has submitted a speedrun in that category.
It's very easy to be the best at something only you have done.
I think this is the patch I exploited condottieri by offering them to Otto as Byz (they'd take for no $), stationing them in Anatolia near their 3 forts, declaring war on the 1st, splitting up and moving them to the 3 forts. I'd usually get at least 2 forts sieged. I wonder if this would speed up your time with taking down Korea?
I have personally watched at least 40 of your videos and I find it insulting that you don't consider that your greatest achievement

Man absolute throw back with the old mercs and estates, only way to throw back even harder is to have missions be decisions.
Although I do love the new missions, I also really liked the old randomized missions as that provided a lot of flavor when the missions weren't all in the same order.

I actually did the same strategy around 2018/19 (I had already gotten the achievement long before then so don't remember when) and beat it earlier in December 1446.
- Same thing you did to Uesugi
- I landed at Gyeongju, (I am guilty of the month cheese you also did) won a fight in same province on the 2nd day of the month and stack-wiped the Koreans at Hanseong on the 30th.
- The dice rolls were for once in my favor when besieging Ganggye which I didn't focus on until after I landed enough troops and mercs.
- Peaced out Korea in November and Ainu in December (both full annex).
However, you had harder odds especially with your narrow defeat on landing on the peninsula, forgetting to attack Ainu earlier, and the other Daimyo helped me siege Hanseong and Ganggye (idk why the hell the Daimyo didn't help you with the latter fort).
So congrats, I outpaced your record a long time ago but you had a much more challenging time than me so you get the win honestly. If I still had that file and cared to record it back then I would submit it to Speedrun.
Sadly he is right, with all the changes they have made such as the current Ashikaga leader being a regent make it impossible to do it now. Ah the days with the simplistic estate system and the mercenary craziness. As Ashikaga it'll be the 1450's before you can do anything. A change I am glad about is Hawk moving away from AI voice, he's got a good guidance voice.
Yeah, I too beat this and your record, I think it was October 1446 but unfortunately I didn't record it and have no proof. 😂

Can you explain why this is no longer possible, even if you roll back to previous patches and disable DLCs? I'm guessing it's because certain DLC features have been rolled into the base game on every patch, but which ones specifically make this no longer work?
I worry about not being efficient with time just playing this game. This would be a good way to kill me.
