Two other things, if you have not already seen it, the fine young violinist Ray Chen has a channel here on RUclips with an almost two hour interview/exchange of views with Alice made last year. It is fascinating and instructive, showcasing two superb musicians and really healthy and nice spirits in our musical world today. I think you will enjoy it! And my second observation; how amazing is the fact Alice speaks German, Japanese, AND English with such fluidity and command. Remarkable woman in so many ways...
Dear bloodgrss, I think he has some problems with his life, so I am really sorry for him. Just think about it! Maybe this is the only joy in life to infiltrate the joy of others. The other thing, I love and know quite well Ray Chan and I watched at least twice that talking with Alice! What’s more! I project a couple of very important parts from the conversation and piano concerto to my students because they wonderfully articulate important things about music, huow Alice plays with the orchestra, and how important it is the musical break, such as between the first and second movements. And finally, Alice is truly a miracle I think! I discovered her in January and I can’t get enough of her since! I think I’ve seen every movie available, interviews, seen and listened to every RUclipss with her more than once or twice! I’ve already bought tickets for 17th of April of DG’s online gigs and all my recordings have either been bought or downloaded, but I can’t get enough of it! So I’m glad what an amazing fan base she has, I don’t care the malicious people and I think neither Alice! I am glad that you wrote me! 😄 have a nice week!

And, being a performing artist myself (theatre-wise), I am taken with her attention to the actual atmosphere of the concert, from lighting to dress to sound to pause. Sad, perhaps, that my Grandparent's way of attending concerts and its church like reverence and staid tradition is mostly a thing of the past. We need new audiences to thrill to live performance in our over-digital/visual age. Such comprehensive understanding of presentation skills beyond simply the music itself, is what we need to help build new audiences for that music we love. As a role model for your students, in so many ways musically, technically, and emotionally, you could not pick a better artist today. You are very kind to feel sorry for Georges Cancan/Mario DiSarli. After 10 years of his abuses' and harassments on young female pianists uploads, I have lost any sympathy. Comments on the tubes really mean nothing to the artist, but there are many fine people here who's pleasure is marred by such as he and his obsessive hate. Critique is one thing; we all have the right to like an artist or their particular performances or not. But his agenda is to irritate, blaspheme, insult, and harass, all in some insane mysogonistic troll's delusion. Since I saw him pop back up on YT about 6 months ago (he has been suspended numerous times) I have, when I have a little time, made it my crusade to have him reported and banned.
