Good to see you wearing full PPE while working. Dryer lint is as dangerous as asbestos for your lungs, so you need to stay protected at all times. Even when just clearing the filter in the dryer. The instruction manual for my dryer says in big letters that I should never use my hands to remove the lint from the filter, but rather rinse it under water to avoid any kind of dust going into the air. So if that is dangerous for me only using the dryer 1-2 times a week, then it is really bad for you doing this all day long every day.
It absolutely would work! I would just adjust that elbow to a full 90 degrees and then install a side vent periscope. It would, and has many times, be a perfect scenario for it! GREAT QUESTION! Of course I brought it up however money is tight for folks these days and I definitely understand that!! Thanks for the question!!
1) The lint trap doesn’t catch every particle of lint that is created when doing laundry. Even if the trap is cleaned after every load. Over time, the lint that passes through the lint trap eventually will gather in the dryer vent which can cause a blockage. 2) some people do not clean their lint traps on a regular basis so the blockage happens more rapidly.
Im so addicted to your videos!!!!
That’s awesome to hear!!! ❤️
Steve getting it done once again 🔥

BRO! That's insane!
Nice work, Steve!
Would the periscope work for an installation like this? I'm guessing no, but 🤷♂.

Every dryer I have seen has a lint screen. How then does so much lint collect in the vent?

As a mom who matches socks, I hope you didn’t throw the socks away. Sock monsters are real! 🥰😂
Whispering
Why build like this? Makes no sense.
Call me stupid but if the dryer is on an exterior wall why did they vent it up?
👍👍👍👍
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Why are you wispering?
Out of respect for my client... Not everyone wants to hear me narrating the video...
❤
When are you going to start selling your dryer vent snake?
