Hi, first thanks for this video it helped me a lot, now i have gear almost 400, started doing the bahamuth dlc but cant get even finish the first mission, im probably an idiot but i haven figured out exactly how to do the builds, i have seen a few videos on best builds but they have armor sets that they probably got in the labyrinth and i was wondering if you could give me a hand, as i am trying to get all the limit release for all the jobs.....yeah stupid is missing a dumb little thing to keep going forward (aka how to increase high dmg) thanks if anyone can give me a hand or recomend a video to guide me into that i would greatly appreciate it, thanks
This game is so underrated. I mean, everyone expected a dirge 2.0 full of memes and bad gameplay... instead they got entertaining gameplay, immersive class system, unironically horrible but really hilarious dialogues and a (no spoilers) satisfying finish. The price is high , but this game is really worth a play.
It’s fun, but it’s very linear lol, so it makes for repetitive “exploring” will definitely play til the end but I can see it getting old fast
I really like this final fantasy twist on nioh with way easier combat but that allows you for more customization, having multiple jobs and shared skills instead of weapon stances is really damn fun

The game is bad, SE has been lazy lately, rehashing assets and story points from their other games, the pirate cave is almost play by play a dungeon from FFXIV. Dont get me started on the PS3 graphics, and im playing on the PS5. It’s crap, and I wished people would just come out and say it’s crap so SE can stop getting one over on us and do their damn work. And followers… they don’t do anything, they don’t attack dont hold aggro, they’re a waste
@@Turkeysammich3000 then you’re not using them properly. Gear them up, and actually call for them to attack. And imo the game is great, team ninja did good.
What I hate about the Strangers Paradise are the brain-dead teammates AI, I never seen them doing special attacks that cost MP, like shoot a fireball or cast berserk. While other teammate games like Dragon Age Inquisition you SEE you mates do there special attacks AUTOMATICALLY, their AI is smarter and thats a 2014 game. I am sorry but Team Ninja is just not competent in making SMART AI teammates, same with Wo Long. Everytime you get a teammate, all they do is basic attacks, wtf are your magic and special attacks?

The best way to level up is to 'kill' / break a boss once then let him kill you in phase 2 and repeat. You should see you job raise about 5 levels when Jack finishes the attack and phase 2 starts.
Yes this is without question much more efficient than what is shown on video and very easy to figure out. Also dismantling accessories gives a lot of Anima shards
This game is awesome imo. Lots of inventory management tho to the point where I always optimize equipments now. I really love that they made it a souls style gameplay tho and really surprised the company that makes dynasty warriors was involved with this game. 8/10 for me
Optimizing can be great early game because it can be tedious to constantly swap. But I think the end game affinity really is a game changer once we get enough percents
I held off getting this until recently because people reviewing it didn't say anything about the combat system outside of "Dark sould like" playing it myself i see it a little bit... But it's more different than people gave it credit for. The inly real similarities is the "Bonfire" mechanic. Almost everything else isn't really darksouls like to me (I can explain if people need me to clarify). It feels more like the other action FF games with a better class system. I love it honestly, the diverse multiclass builds are so fun. I am currently bbuilding up and unlocking classes aiming to get dark knight and paladin so i can do a Cecil build as well as Setting up a Kain Holy Dragoon set.

Not going to lie I got the combat down
Optimize over Affinity if you're struggling with the game. I found this out really late, post awakening all the crystals late. I spent hours fighting Tiamat 2 then rage quit optimized out of frustration used the Breaker class with an axe used the starfall 2 mp bar ability killed her in less than 1 minute. Now I'm farming Kraken 2 for 5 star equipment and exp. Each fight takes 3 to 5 min and you get 0-3 5 star equipment each run, mosty 4 stars but those are useful too.
This video did not need to be 7 minutes to explain killing the bombs after the first cube in the chaos shrine for 5,000 exp, or beating up other monsters in co-op.
This does not make you "overpowered" early, especially if most play on Hard Mode.
Another good playstyle I've just started using consists of using warrior and white mage, pop mighty strikes, the sigil skill to prolong buffs, warrior cry, regen and haste, its unreal how well it syncs on hard, fights don't seem to last long enough on easier difficulties to enjoy it

One thing I hate, is that when we optimize the equipment, it doesn't equip the one with the most affinity, where it'd always be the fastest way to level up skills !!!
It's so dumb that we can't choose how to optimize, it always goes for the stats, and even for 1 point, make you lose a +14% affinity.
May be a bit late to comment but 1. Transitioning a boss into its 2nd phase rewards you with a ton of xp, usually 2 levels worth, you can do this with the 1st boss by just reaching first phase then dying and repeating. Much faster than bombs. 2. Dismantling Accessories gives Anima shards, much more than co op would give you. These two are very efficient and in about an hour and a half of grinding on a new save I manage to have both tyrant and sage jobs in use.

I accidentally did this last night as I played on hard mode from start and kept dying in 2nd phase of 1st boss, when I managed to defeat it, my job was max and I didnt know lol

Playing final fantasy for me always about farming gold/gil and etc to max as fast as possible.But there is no gil in this game....What kind of fantasy kingdom or civilization that doesnt have any currency...
Anyway really great games and maybe one of the best ff games in next gen consoles.

AI
Super fast with the basic jobs, but slows down a lot with the advanced and expert classes. Best to run dungeons further on with them. On story mode that is. You can button mash any stage on story
this 100% anima shard grinding spots later on in chaos mode give soooo much XP

There are already tons of video out with the same exact farming location others have done. I don't mind making the same stuff if maybe there are 3 or 4 videos about it..but legit there are 10 and idk how much more I can add to it lol. I'll prolly focus more on gameplay videos and guides now
Just got this game today after thinking about it for a while, loving it so far. So many classes to choose from, wish I got it sooner.
They should have made it creat your own player tbh thats what this fills like and thats why the game feels slow it terms of story they could have easily added a cut scene changed the name and done now you have creat a class that fits into the story
Not sure if it's been pointed out yet or not, but you could also add in the balconies along the right side of the bomb hallway and make a loop out of it! They connect together and you end up at the room with the second cube. I used this spot to grind out everyone's levels (and most available jobs for Jack) to 30 before stomping a mudhole in the ass connected to the dude in the chaos shrine and walking it dry 😏
This is a great tip for farming. Reminds me of Samurai Jack since the Protagaist's name is "Jack" trainning in the way of the Samurai both physical and mental.

Unfortunately solo play only allows you to play as jack. But coop your friends can play as others

One you unlock each one then you can change them around.
That's weird, I did this exact thing lol. I farmed Exp for 22 hours until I got everything I could at that level. I love grinding and I love games that allows us to do this. I did this for Skyrim long ago when it released and I pretty much broke the game. That's when I quit playing.

So is it better to beat the 1st playthrough as fast as possible to unlock chaos mode and then play chaos mode as that is when the real game begins?
I mean you cannot go wrong with that one. I have a infinite anima shard video dropping tomorrow for Early Game. But the end game version of it is wild!

This is one of the reasons why I don't do reviews. For one thing, if I get a game early I wanna showcase to you guys all the cool things you can do to break the game or enjoy it more. We all know the story is Doo Doo. But the gameplay either coop or solo, it's magnificent

Im sorry but the movement on playstation looks so crap
The comments in this video section just made me say screw it and switch to casual mode. Was playing on hard. The boss fights can be pretty brutal just playing through on hard. It feels like people are just gonna focus on chaos for end game gameplay, so I'll do that instead, as going through on hard mode is putting me behind those rushing through casual.

put is on casual mode and run through the game until the endgame. The endgame you get level 30 in a few minutes
there is an even better method I can tell you about as I am already at level 300 on my gear all I ask is just a shout out

Yeah on PC i took shadows OFF. They are really overwhelming and makes the game look weird even if its on low med or high. So taking them off makes the game much much better looking imo

You figure out how to use master points and job crests???havent quite figured it out, not smithy i saw
not there yet unfortunately but going to do my best tomorrows stream and knockout levels with legionzgaming in coop
Job crests require you find a rather hidden orb in the floating island level (terra tortura; it requires you drop down one of the holes near the top of the left most path to reach it) it unlocks the side quest for the 3rd Smith hammer which let's you augment job affinity on your gear using job crests. Master points you go into the skill tree for the job with master points and press R3 (im a ps4 player so that the command I have) to pull up the master tree. Let's you spend your points (with limits on each section) to augment specific stats while using that job (essentially allowing you to adds passive stat bonuses of your choice; much like changing the effects of your equipped gear via the smith)

How do you use other characters points since they all maxed level 30? What’s the point of the leveling them up if I can’t use the points?
You have to do the side quests that will allow your AI team members to gain access to other jobs.
@@MarkNull I know that but the other characters job points are maxed for the job, how can I learn abilities and skills for the other Characters instead of main character Jack? You know what I mean?
@@retrosal2263 the allies have a fixed skill set depending on their equipped job. They only get better stats when yltheir job levels. They don't have the job skill tree that Jack does.
I heard there is a trophy for reaching lv 200!

Its clear a chaos difficulty mission at or above lvl 200

One question I did have about the affinity bonus. You kind of mentioned it here but didn’t give extra examples if it was that way
Say you have your primary job getting the 5000 xp the 20% affinity gets 1000 xp. What if your main job has 0 affinity and you give your other job 100% affinity bonus would both jobs get the 5000xp or would the secondary job get the 1000xp still?
100% on the second job if its at 100%. if main job is 0% thats ok, as long as you have it equipped as the primary upon enemy dying it will receive 100%.
@@BltzZ awesome. That’s what I was hoping plus as the game goes on and equipment gets better it will be easier to level other jobs. It might be a better way at leveling jobs. If you can get gear to something like 150 affinity on your gear would that give more than 100% to the active job or the equipment jobs? My gear doesn’t go that high yet.

@@BltzZ Honestly didn't buy it myself yet after everyone was so negative about it being like corridor to corridor to open area to new mission etc. Bought GT7 and won't have money to get ff origin for another month.
These videos are a great idea for views though, many people would rather watch someone play than play themselves. It's just that i'm not like that.
@@BigFootSize well here's the thing. The combat of this game is super engaging to the point where you don't even notice the hallway designs. It's more apparent in remake. But in this game is nonstop action and trying to not die so you rarely notice it. The demo in the store allows you to play the first 4-5 hours. Try it out and see if you haven't already
