    You have a great skill my friend, starting to get back into fly fishing after years of rest and doing other things, the Dawson Olive will always be my favourite fly. Multi purpose pretty much all year round, caught a lovely bluey trout the first time I used the Dawson. Loved it ever since! Thanks for the video! All the best!

    remember being shown one of these by an old chap when I was fishing Whittle Dean reservoir near Newcastle, he was doing ok and I asked him what he was using "Dawsons Olive" he replied I was expecting a dry fly or similar but was a bit surprised to see one of these on a size 6 longshank, lol. More of a favourite up north
