    As always another great video. This style of fly, with slight changes, will work great for Steelhead and panfish too.

    Never seen that technique for a marabou tail. Looks great for a fluffy tail without too much bulk. I’ll have to try that.

    If you’re open to suggestions Davy fishing the bung is new to me. I was on Menteith the past two weekends and two lovely guys (Paul and Tony) gave me a bung and some flies. Would be good to see you tie a bung and what flies you think work well with it. Cheers Guy

    Tied this one Davie and it works here on the falklands. Excellent fly so will be adding some more to my box. Cheers. And the 2 snakes yoy gabe me to try definitely work. Caught a nice seatrout on first cast with one so thay will be getting tied as well.

      Hi John,
      Great to hear that you have been fishing well and that the snake caught you a fish and as well as the Grizzle Cat, you should tye a few with a black or olive tail too..

      Yeah managed to get out a few times. On holiday for a week so trying to getnout but wind is beating me. Have tied a few different colours of tail for the grizzly cat including chartreuse barred malibu. Will give them a try tomorrow

    Thanks for the video! I really enjoyed watching it. I would like to ask you kindly to consider tying a fly of this style on a tube (like 1.8mm or so). I think tubes are not used often enough for flies like these and there are many small important details to be learned from your tying using a tube. Thanks in advance for your consideration!

    What Varnish do you use Davie?

      Hi Urban Corpse,
      I use Veniard varnish as well as there thinners as this will make it last for a very long time, I also use their bottle which comes with the brush so I have attached links to them for you to see..
