This looks like the one that hit south of Tampa where for days it was going to hit the panhandle and then they said Tampa and coming right over my area just northeast of Tampa. But where did it hit ... South of Tampa and towards Orlando. They have absolutely no clue.
Nothing wrong with a guess that is supported by data and observations. Weather is unpredictable and they can try to forecast with great accuracy, but never 100% correct.
I love these guys, generational? I live in the Outer Banks, so I pay attention to storms to see what's coming, but come on guys, just report what you know and stop trying to scare people. As soon as they can name the storm they get excited. Where I'm at we tend to get more damage from storms without names and it's funny, nobody covers it on the news. I got 7 inches of rain at my house in Kitty Hawk last week, 10 miles to the north got 12. Inches yet I don't recall wall to wall coverage

I should have become a meteorologist. They don’t seem to know much but still get paid for making educated guesses. SMH.
