Answer d is WRONG. The probability of B intersection C is done as follows: one spinner has 1/5 probability of a given color . So the probability of both happening is (1/5)(1/5)=1/25. But this could happen in reverse order (spinner order) SO we have to add these two possible outcomes P 1/25 +1/2=2/25. This is the probability of the intersection. P(B or C) = 9/25 + 8/25 -2/25 = 15/25 = 3/5.

How did you get P(B)=9/25. let me explain: P(not B) is 4/5 for each spinner , so for both is 16/25. So the complement of this will give you the probability of at least one Blue :1-16/25=9/25

15;05 P(A) is 1/5. there are 5 colors and only one green. Where did you get 5/25? Same answer sure, wrong thinking! Maybe is time for this video to be discarded.

9:49 Your definition of basic probability is WRONG! your numerator and denominator are the same thing? Numerator should say: number of success (or failures) , not total number of possible outcomes, it is only the outcomes we DESIRE. Uhm

The explanation for c is pathetic. Let me do it for you: Probability of yellow is 1/5 in one spinner. Probability of NOT yellow is 4/5 in one spinner so we have (1/5)(4/5) = 4/25, Same for the other spinner (4/25) We add these two probabilities (independent events) : 4/25+4/25=8/25. This is the explanations, not just get the answer from some other video and paste in heer. Pathetic tutorial.
