Hey Mav, I'm a diesel mechanic in Cali. After seeing the smoke coming out of the exaust. I would be willing to bet the problem is the electrode switch. Those heaters typically work just like diesel shop heaters. From my experience if you change the electrode switch they fire up no problem. They are normally really cheap.

I have to admit, I put a frozen Bubba Burger in a Foreman grill and minutes later had one of the juiciest hamburgers I have ever eaten without any shrinkage of the burger.
Fact that so many RUclipsrs are vego/ vegan, it’s refreshing to watch our boy Mav cook a good steak well, don’t get me wrong nothing wrong with veganism! We all have our place in the ecosystem 😋

Mav, been working on those heaters for years more specifically the Espar brand. Soak that burn chamber in carburetor cleaner, remove the glow plug and clean. You’ll also see a screen inline with the glow plug, clean it ALL! Then run it in future with Kerosene. With burn cleaner that diesel. Hope this helps. Safe travels.
My 18 year old son got me hooked on this channel. Whenever a new vid pops up we always watch it together. When I got married 23 years ago I was gifted a small George foreman still have it still works lol makes a great fast burger. Maybe if you try eggs again use something that won’t melt to slightly prop up the front bottom so it won’t drain down.

I have one of the really big George Forman grills and it’s my go to cooking implement. Used one for probably 17 years and love them . Don’t have a full size oven in my flat and between my halogen cooker and the George Forman there is nothing I can’t make

Hey Mav! Just letting you know, since you don’t really like mayonnaise… there are 2 different kinds of lobster salad for lobster rolls; cold and HOT. Cold lobster salad is made with Mayo, but you can also make hot lobster salad with melted butter instead! You should definitely try it sometime!

And boy did my hubby and I get crap from everyone back in the late 70's when we got married and said no kids for us. But it was our life, not theirs. Never have regretted it. Each to their own.

You want a great meal try this: 2" thick pork chops (slip pocket in the middle) then stuff the pocket with homemade stuffing inside. grill it and topped with White Sauce and "just a touch" of Wine. Grill either Brussel Sprouts or Asparagus for your side dish. Grilled Topical Fruits for dessert like Mangos and Papayas. Enjoy. 😋
Next on the George Foreman grill: cookie dough, grilled cheese sandwich, fish filet (in that order, so your cookies don't taste like fish). Loved this video.

Your mom must either be very popular or you live in a small town.. With the fact she knows the butcher and the hotel clerk. That's awesome. Also even though I don't eat meat that is impressive the Forman grill was able to cook all of those different meals.. Especially the lobster tail.. George Forman should call you to ask if he can use your video because this was one big promotion..
As of 2018 George has made over 300 million off the George foreman grill. I think they doing alright for only advertising at 2am on HSN 🤣

I lived in an apartment and couldn't have a real grill, so I had one of these. For more "loose foods" I would make "pans/trays" out of aluminum foil and spray them with non stick cooking spray. just a tip if you need it.
Hey Mav, you can skip the mayo and have a New England Style Lobster Roll instead....basically Lobster Meat, Clarified Butter & a Toasted Bun or use a Toasted New England Style Hot Dog Roll roll which is more authentic.
So close. Both ways are New England Lobster rolls. Mav made the Maine Version which is with mayo and celery. The butter version is from Connecticut. Honestly with the right mayo the Maine one is better with cheap mayo the CT version is better. Although I like my lobster rolls cold so Maine all the way for me.
Outside Atlantic states and Atlantic Canada the New England style buns are non existent. I’m from Nova Scotia and live in Alberta now for 10 years and it’s one thing I have never been able to find.

If you want to dive deeper into the heater I would suggest you look for a clog in the intake/filter(if there is one). Seems to be running very rich(due to possible clog) or maybe it’s burning more oil than it’s designed 2?🤷🏽♂️
I love my george foreman (I have the one with temperature select which is nice). I use it all the time. Oh also, the best way to clean it is to just take a damp paper towel and wipe it down while it's still hot. Everything just slides right off!

When I lived in the barracks, we were not supposed to have anything to cook with except a coffee/tea pot and a microwave. I secretly had a George Foreman grill in my locker in the closet. With some ingenuity, you can cook a lot in those.

It’s Cinco de Mayo on May 5th, can you make some like Doritos Loco Nachos with Chicken.
1 pound ground beef -- browned and drained
1 package taco seasoning mix
water -- per pkg instructions
Doritos
Mexican blend cheese -- shredded
shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, jalapenos and onions
1 packed of grilled chicken
Prepare taco meat as directed on the seasoning packet instructions. Place Doritos in an oven safe skillet or microwave safe plate. Top with shredded cheese. Place under broiler or microwave in 30 sec intervals until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle with meat. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions and jalapenos, if desired.
NOTES : Inspired by the Doritos Locos Tacos sold by Taco Bell.

That's so sick !! I think to make it look even more like a waffle...when you flip it...flip it so the lines go the opposite way. For example, if the lines are grilling north to south to start..... when you flip them....lay them back down so the lines will now run east to west. I'd imagine that would give it that sweet sweet waffle look. And for the record, those breakfast bacon waffle tacos looked bomb !! 👍👍

We have a big George Foreman grill and I am surprised how many different things you can cook on it!! Glad you got one, keep experimenting with it! Helpful cleaning and safety tip is set the grill into a tinfoil pan that's high enough to contain any splattering oil works well and easy to clean up or recycle after using multiple times! Keep on truckin'!

I cook all my steaks on my George Foreman grill when it's raining or super cold outside it does awesome in a pinch actually I think it's better on the GFG only thing it's missing is that smokey flavor!!!!! But I never knew you could cook a lobster or waffles on it I'm going be eating high on the hog !!!
