Thanks Neil - good solid review as always… been looking at as much EV3 and Elroq material as I can. Elroq looks quite appealing… drawn by the lower boot lip (for dog access) and interior is lovely - always been a Skoda fan anyway. But … looked at the price list last night… and options that I would like, are embedded in very expensive Option Packs. Really knocks the stuffing out of the price, and brings the EV3 back into sharper focus, as most of those items are standard. Not to mention the 7year Kia warranty. Already an appreciative Soul owner, so staying with Kia would be just fine!

Thanks for watching, and yes, the EV3 is a strong rival. Check out our video on that too if you haven't seen it yet.

Yeah, the value bit runs out pretty quickly once you start moving up the range. I think the Skoda is stronger than the EV3 in terms of its cabin and its overall driving experience, but the Kia is better value and has better range in basic form.

New subscriber from elsewhere in the world, great review and look forward to seeing one at a Skoda dealership probably 2 years after everyone else in the world. Once again the lack of a spare wheel is an issue, if it’s rear wheel drive why can’t they accommodate it up front like the old Citroen DS. If you have a duel motor you’d miss out but that’s your call. The screen being too big is another issue and the centre dash projecting bad into the cabin appears to impact on tall drivers. Otherwise is a great package and if priced right could challenge the Tesla offerings.
