Paint guys dont want to deal with brake fluid or bleeding. Mustang guy probably wouldn't want to pay for it either, or he would have just had them powdercoated
really no need to, unless you want to be meticulous. But if that's the case, then you would actually be powder coating. This is supposed to be an easier/cheaper alternative to powder coating. But this way you don't have to dismantle each caliper, thus saving you a lot of time and energy.
Because it helps the paint stay without chipping if primer not used. Also paint can diminish if there isn’t a complete flat surface so the primer helps create that flat and clean surface
Great work, shit paint. To clarify im talking about the owners choice. He better be getting the car wrapped or something cuz this is so ugly with that green.
Calipers should always be powder coated. This is only gonna fade, crack, and change color over time with the constant stresses and expansion contraction from the heat and cool cycles calipers go through non stop.
What brand paint did you use ?
From the thumbnail I really thought you wrapped it lmao I was like Oohh yeah let’s see htf u really did that but nope spray cans lol
You do know they sell wraps specifically designed for calipers right??
You know he didn’t use spray cans right?
why not take them off and paint them?

U wouldn't want to powder coat calibers bc of the high heat@@2JDeez
Brake fluid......it's a pain. BUT he could've taken the Caliper off the rotor and then painted it to get better coverage.
Looks amazing
How long you wait in between?
Why prime used

@@hectorcortes7246 Nope. Caliper paint doesn't need primer and it looks like the paint u used is not heat paint.
Clear coat after the decal?? Or clear coat then put the decal??? Whats the difference🤔🧐
Clear coat after protects the decal bro
How durable is this though?
it appears #1 u need to use a stop rust product if rusty then prime then powder coat from the videos i have seen.
What city are you located in?
Is bad to sand down the original zinc cover?
Not if it’s really fine grit just for a better paint result and longer lasting stick.
Wouldn’t it be better to take them off or nah?
cool color but WHY WITH A GREEN CAR....cringe
Great work, shit paint. To clarify im talking about the owners choice. He better be getting the car wrapped or something cuz this is so ugly with that green.
The prep is a bit rough, but love the colour. They'll look great to the lay man though.

What a hackjob. Should be ashamed if you charged for that
Yep.
Too much work
You mad😐
And ugly
Lol
Your just lazy
@@RafidhAUO You're just lazy*
Idk if he’s lazy, maybe not his thing but likes the looks of car mods, I personally LOVE doing it myself.
