- This is a very simple beginner's jig that crappie love!
Head: 1/16 oz round head
Paint: Disco blue ProTec powder paint
Hook: Size #4 sickle
Eyes: 5mm Gold 3d eyes
Thread: Chartreuse Uni thread 6/0
Body: Mellow yellow new age chenille
Tail: Cobalt blue marabou - Хобби

Awesome jig! Tying the chenille in at the head and doubling it up looks like a great way to make the body more “full” with the nimrods chenille. Great video!! 👏🏻

You do a great job of tying. Just curious… why don’t you use any adhesive other that super glue?
I haven’t needed them. Thread has always held them together well enough for me.
WHERE do you get your Chenille??? I have looked everywhere for ‘Mellow Yellow’ and can’t find it anywhere!!
